Andria's POV:

Jezebel paces back and forth grumbling to herself.

"Is something wrong?"

She ignores me and keeps yanking on her locks. I'm surprised I haven't seen any bald patches yet.

"Don't tell me you're worried about how things will end for you." I want to know what she's thinking.

If she slips up, at least I know what to expect. Not knowing is killing me. She growls before storming upstairs. The door slams loudly. I jump. Looks like I'll just have to see how this will plan out. Looking around my surroundings, I sigh.

"Matthew, remember who you are..."

Shianne's POV:

He collapses to the ground. I want to check on him, but my feet feel rooted to the ground. The look in his eyes. It was enough to put fear in the devil himself.

"Shianne, what's happened?" Brother Talic barges into the room with the rest of the brothers behind him.

"I...I don't know..." For once, I don't know what I've done.

They run pass me to get to the two bodies. Brother Talic, Joseph, and Paul go to Matthew. Brother Andrew, Roman, and Luca go to Marne.

"She's dead." Brother Luca pulls his hand away from Marne's neck.

"He's still alive, just unconscious. Shianne, what happened?"

They all look up at me. Tears form in my eyes.

"I don't know." I haven't cried since Jez took the love of my life away from me.

The sick thing about it is, it was my words and my hands that killed him. Not Jez.

"Shianne, tell us." Brother Andrew holds my trembling hands.

I avoid looking at him. "I don't know."

His grip tightens. "What happened when you came into the room?"

I can't tell my secret. The thought of confessing burns my chest unbearably.

"I'm sorry, Brothers. I have betrayed you." My voice is soft.

The rest of the Brothers stand up as Brother Andrew steps back.

"Shianne..."

I look up at the men who put so much trust into me with shame. They don't understand. They can't possibly understand.

"He killed her didn't he?" Brother Talic steps forward.

I nod.

"You told him to."

I nod again as another wave of shame warms my veins.

"Why? We agreed-"

"There's no other way!" I yell

The room falls silent. I've never raised my voice to them.

"We would've found another way."

"It's too late." I smirk as my fists clench.

"It's happening, isn't it?" Brother Talic sighs.

I frown. "What are you-?"

"We know." They all state in unison.
