You'll Always Be the sin 90°
I know that we're parallel lines—
And never destined to meet,
But darling, our world is a sphere,
And at the poles it can be us.
You and the square root of negative one—
They make my universe.
They are also the start of it,
And I hope it will last forever.
I am a mathematician,
And I'm poor at poetry;
But for you I wrote this poem,
And I hope you'll like this too.
Remember that you, my love,
Will always be the sine of ninety for me.
I have sin π doubts for this feelings,
And I hope you feel the same way too.
