Chapter 6

"Man I missed y'all." I said.

"I missed you too Tay Boogie. I was tryna link up with everybody but you done changed ya number." he said.

"Sorry bruh. Where ya phone, I'm gone save it." I said.

"Cool." he said handing me his phone. "How you and Ty in love asses doing?"

"Long story, different day." I said.

"I understand. But I'm gone catch you later, right?" he asked.

"Right." I said giving him another hug and leaving from our place in the room.

I walked to a table and sat down so I could text my Auntie back.

"Hey ma." some guy said coming up to me..He was aight.

"Hey." I said.

"You look very nice." he said licking over his lips.

"Thanks. " I said smiling slightly.

"So you tryna do this at my crib or yours?" he asked .

"Excuse me?" I asked.

"You tryna fuck or not?" he asked.

I stood and smacked the dog shit outta him. He was bouta stand up until Anthony came over grabbing me by my waist.

"We got a problem here?" he asked.

"Nah man." the guy said pushing past us.

Anthony turned to me seeing how mad I was.

"Thanks." I said.

"No problem ma. I always gotchu." he said.

I smiled and watched him smile back.

"Why you always blushing.?" he asked.

"I was just thinking." I said.

"About how I put it down last night? " he smirked.

I pushed him slightly before rolling my eyes. He laughed and leaned in closer to my ear.

"Let's go right now" he whispered grabbing my ass.

"Noo." I said laughing and removing his hands.

"Why not?" he asked.

"Maybe later. But not now." I said.

"Don't be bullshitting me." he said laughing.

Before I could respond some guy tapped me on my shoulder. I turned around and was greeted with a smile.

"You wanna dance?" he asked.

"Sure." I said.

He smiled before grabbing my hand and moving to the dancefloor with me. I danced a couple rounds with him,  and I must admit he could keep up with me. Just like high-school a huge crowd formed around us as I worked my body. Once the music changed I decided I was tired and stopped.

"You can dance!" he said laughing.

"Thank you." I said going to get a bottle of water with him hot on my tail.

"I never got your name." he said.

"And I never got yours." I smirked.

"You right, you right. I'm Junior. But call me Jay." he said.

"I'm LaTayah,  call me Tayah." I said

"Nice. I'll see you around then." he said.

"Yea." I said smiling. He adjusted his snapback before leaving off.
