False security
Fake serenity
All before the thundering
Begins
And the winds arise
I raise my eyes
To the skies
And watch
The clouds roll in
The light is stolen
The sun's golden
Warmth is gone
The rain falls down
All around
And beats the ground
And I listen
To the rushing roar
And ever more
I never listen
To the calm before the storm
