I raise my eyes upward in thought.
I smile, I sigh.
Mmmm, what a sweet feeling!
Flutter, flutter - oh, my heart is beating funny
Gasp in some air - oops, forgot to breathe -
Too busy daydreaming!
What if..? No, that couldn't possibly... but maybe..?
Oh, if only... No, he doesn't even... well, he could...
Oops! Forgot to breathe again!
I laugh. I'm so funny. I let this stupid little feeling destroy my reasoning and
my brain turns to butter
He wouldn't like it if I... but still, he could...
Does he..? Hopefully...
WOO! My heart did that fluttery thing again!
The intercom crackles - rips me out of my pink perfumed thoughts
I'm suddenly back on the bench at the mall
Waiting for my ride home from Mom.
I try to start to daydream again
I wish he... - WOO! OW! Yes, baby!
An EXTREMELY handsome dude walks by
And winks! And Smiles! And turns! And takes a step! And blinks! And takes another step! And another! Woah!
Oooohhhhh, forget you, other guy - I love you no longer.
Suddenly I see all your flaws
Eew! How did I even LIKE you?!
Well, at least now I have another!
Hell-o, daydreams!
Oops! - forgot to breathe again.
This can't be good for my brain.
