Summer love

- Chapter 11 -

It was Wednesday. Today Amber and Cindy were out of town as Cindy needed to be checked in a hospital in London (not that she was sick or anything, just an annual check) so, besides cleaning Cindy's bedroom I had nothing else to do. Then what would I do that day? Of course, I called Jade.

Eventually, after talking with her, we decided to spend the day at the Brighton Pier (one of the things on our list of "To do's" before I left) and today was the day. We were meeting at 10 and, as usual, I was late.

I arrived sweating and only 3 minutes late. Jesus, I considered myself worked out for the day.

- Hi, sorry to be late! – I said breathless, going closer to Jade who was standing in front of her car on the street, laying against a street light

- It's okay, don't worry – she said stepping closer and kissing me which I kissed her right back – why didn't you take one of Amber's car? – she asked

- Oh... true... - I said feeling embarrassingly stupid as I totally forgot to even consider that option

Jade just laughed and shook her head and then she grabbed my hand and we started walking.

We walked around the Pier. It was so beautiful and today was a really great day: the sun was shining, not a cloud in sight (which hardly ever happens in England) and it was so hot, like 28 degrees (kind of rare in the UK as well). Everyone was in shorts, bikini tops... getting as much vitamin D as possible. In my case, I was wearing denim shorts (as since I woke up this morning I felt it would be warm today) and a cute turquoise crop top I got two months ago and hadn't been able to wear yet. Jade, was wearing high waist black shorts which made her figure look even better than usual, and a bralette which covered what needed to be covered but looked sexy as heck.

Walking around the Brighton Pier, in such a hot day and holding hands with the love of my life... it was like a dream. But wait, hold on here: had I just called Jade "the love of my life"? I was falling so hard for someone who I may wouldn't make it work with at the end as we would live so far away from each other... well shit. However, I pushed this thoughts out of my head to enjoy this day as much as possible.

- Want an ice-cream? – Jade asked all of the sudden

- Yas! I shouted as excited as a little kid – you know me well – I told her surprised

- Of course I do – she said in such a cute voice giving me a quick peck

I was literally hovering among the clouds and I didn't want to go down.

- X -

- Are you ready? – Jade shouted

- No! – I answered

- 3, 2, 1... JUMP! – she screamed excited and before I could take it all in, we were approaching the sea at a superfast speed

After having lunch and going to so many attractions at the Pier, it hit 4pm and it was hot as hell. As everyone was melting, someone got the smart idea to make kind of an attraction at a safe spot of the pier to jump into the water, and Jade, who was sweating like crazy, didn't think about it twice and dragged me there with her.

Actually, almost everyone, not expecting it and seeing the situation, decided to jump into the water in underwear, and that's actually what Jade and I did.

- Oh my God, yas, I needed to refresh my body – Jade said moving around me in the water and closing her eyes

- Why? You were too hot? – I teased
