Something was wrong. I could feel it. Something was obviously wrong. "Raphael has Eleanor arrived in North Carolina yet" I asked personal guard.

"Elle should have arrived a few hours ago " he answered dismissing the others with a flicker of his wrist.

"Tell the pilot that their is a change of plan we are leaving in 2 hours . that should give him enough time to prepare the jet"

"As you wish" he bowed before leaving to do as he was told.

Maribell did not feed while in the castle. Nor did she go out to the gardens with Rayle. Not even into her maze garden. Since the death of my beloved Maribell had been the one keeping me alive. Her speech was what snapped me out of my self pity. She was right. We had both lost the same amount of people. The only difference was that I had someone who relayed on me.

I had my daughter, Rayle. At first I was afraid that if I fell in love with her like I had with her mother she would be taken away from me. So I watched her from afar. Maribell took on the part of her Mother and father for a while. When I was at my lowest she was my rock. My anchor. For that I will always be in my baby sisters debt.

I soon realized that weather or not I was involved in my daughters life she could be taken from me. Rumors had gotten around about Maribell and Raylr getting captured by a group of rebellious vampires and werewolves whom still were against the peace treaty. That's when I realized that Rayle already had my heart. I was unable to get a hold of my sister for 2 days so I took matters into my own hands and went to search for them only to find them happily laughing in a play ground. Maribell and Rayle are my only reason for existing now. Maribell and Myself grew up without parents. Even when they were alive they were hardly around. They always tried to make time for us but it was never enough. At least not in my opinion. I want to be involved in my daughters life. That is why I decided to step down from the thrown.

Raphael stood up from his seat on the jet bring me back to the present. He was out of his seat so quickly almost as if the sun burned him after not feeding for a few weeks.

"You are right Jaxton, something is not right... Elle she's... I can not explain it but I know their is something wrong." he stated desperately.

"Why not call her" I suggested and he took out his iPhone. After a few tries and failed attempts he got frustrated and crushed his index finger through the device.

My phone rang and I answered it immediately when I saw it was my daughter Rayle

"Papa,..There is something wrong with Aunt Bell "

"What do you mean Princess" I asked on high alert. My eyes locked with Raphael's his eyes reflected the look in mine. Letting me know he heard what Rayle said.

"I'm scared Papa...She looks sick... I'm locked in the safe room." She stated and I could tell she was crying.

"Where are your guards... Brent, Culten, Eleanor?" I asked firmly not wanting to scare her.

"Brent and Cult are with Aunt Bell... Elle had claw marks on her neck...their are some guards outside my room but I do not trust them Papa" she cried. She might not trust them but I do. Or more like Brent judgement. If he trusted them then I know that My daughter will be safe.

"Their is a werewolf with them Papa! what if he gets mad and hurts Aunt Bell or me" she added.

"Do not be frightened my sweet child that no one will hurt you. Papa is on his way princess"
