LONG CHAPTER MOSTLY WITH JOSH'S POV :)

After school, Y/N and i went to the neighborhood park since her mom works till 9 and her grandparents are out of town right now. I didn't want to leave her alone.

The afternoons during fall in Ohio are really nice, the cold breeze would move her H/L H/C hair, she looked like a queen. Oh Josh, are you falling in love with someone you just met about 10 hours ago?! That's impossible. We started talking about each other it was really nice and peaceful we were all alone. Until Y/N and I got a text message.

It was Brendon inviting all of our group to a party at his place. Y/N smiled as soon as she got the text. She looked at me with a really happy smile, the biggest one I've seen from her. "We should go, it'll be a great opportunity to get to know you guys better!"

"Yeah sure, I mean who wouldn't wanna miss Beebs' amazing parties?" I said. Y/N stood up and removed her flannel from her waist and she put it on as a jacket. "Alright well lets go!"

She grabbed my hand and went running to the parking lot where my car was, god was she really that cute? Snap out of it Josh, she wouldn't feel the same way about you and you know it. I drove to
Y/N's house, she was 2 houses away from mine. We both went inside, and went to her room. She grabbed another long sleeve but it was another black one that said "XO" which I think was The Weeknd merch.

"Josh, I'm gonna change and get ready real quick, you can go get something to eat downstairs." She said closing her bathroom door. "I'm good I'll just wait outside."

I stood up and I was looking at her room, it was so beautiful. She had a small piano and a drum set, and some photos on her wall with some Christmas lights. I was looking at her old pictures, from when she used to live in New York. Her family looked so happy, but after I reach deep into the wall I saw she scratched out her dad's face in every photo with him.

I knocked on her bathroom door, and said if I could play her drums for a little. She let me use them, she's such a nice girl. I sat down on the stool grabbed some drumsticks and started playing softly and slow, I didn't want to scare her. I played for like 5 minutes and she was out. I dropped the drumsticks and saw her, she had a messy bun, a small necklace, her jeans, and her The Weeknd shirt with some white converse.

"Woahh," that was the only thing that came out of my mouth. "You look great." She blushed as soon as I complimented her. She was so adorable. We went downstairs and we both decided to go walking to Brendon's house it wasn't that far it was 7 minutes in car which meant about 10 minutes if we go walking fast.

"So Y/N, I was looking around your room and I saw pictures of your family, why would you cover up your dad in every family picture?" After I asked that question her eyes looked like if she was shot in the back. "What's wrong?"

"Umm, Josh.." she looked really nervous, and her eyes looked a bit watery from maybe rage or sadness. "I-I-I can't talk about it right now, I prefer we talked about it in private later on.."

"Ohh, alright.." she was looking down at the ground, I thought I saw a tear fall to the concrete. I just went straight to hug her, "I'm sorry, if I said something bad.."

Even if it was really cold, she was really warm, she was some inches shorter than me so her head was in my chest, I didn't want to let her go, but it was a really long hug her warm hands were around me, it was like if I was next to a warm fire in a cold night. We both let go, and continued walking until we finally made it to Brendon's place.

It wasn't that full there was only about 20 people including us, I guess Brendon didn't want to get arrested by the police. Everyone was already here, Brendon looked like if he was about to get wasted. But then he saw us come in and left his beer in a table.
