Aphmau hated blanknesss. That had been a clarification.

But what could be possibly worse than that?

It was simple.

Watching her friends about to died by the hands of eachother right in front of her.

Dang, she had a way of escalating things from 1 to 100.

At first, her head wouldn't stop ringing.

This was her punishment for falling and forgetting to roll so the impact wouldn't be as bad.

I mean, it's not that she'd forgotten or anything, hahahahaha....

But now, she was pretty sure she'd done at least one of the following.

1) Sprained an ankle

2) Hit her head and now there was a swelling bump forming

3) Caused some form of permanent damage to her ego for looking so clumsy

Then again, she really didn't have an ego, just self esteem.

(Thanks for that depressing message)

Next thing she knew was loooking up to an alarming scream.

It was Katelyn, eyes blinding with rage, charging directly at Garroth who was still dazed.

Aphmau wanted to scream out something, but her voice betrayed her with a choke as Katelyn's claws narrowly missed Garroth.

She didn't see which hand, er, claw had sliced Garroth but the clear shout of pain was enough to make her flinch.

"KATELYN!" She finally shouted, picking herself up, realizing her broadsword returned. "STOP!"

Katelyn turned to her, her eye glinting. "YOU."

Aphmau paused. "Me?"

"Yes. You." Katelyn's gaze was dangerously rabid.

"Katelyn..." Aphmau's hand drifted to grip her sword more reverently.

"STOP TALKING!" Katelyn charged in fury.

Aphmau ducked as a claw sailed over her head, blissfully missing her head.

"KATELYN!" Aphmau screamed again, this time, yelping as the claw nicked her knees, leaving a thin trail of blood.

"STOP!" Katelyn's fists connected with the sword, and Aphmau could swear she saw Katelyn's eyes widen with recognition.

The recognition instantly snapped when Aphmau tried to parry a blow and swept Katelyn to her feet.

"Your dirty tricks aren't going to play me THIS time ZANE!" Katelyn snarled.

"Zane?!" Aphmau's confusion was evident.

"Don't play dumb with me!" Katelyn hissed, striking for Aphmau's legs, who barely jumped over the shining blades.

"I'm not Zane!" Aphmau protested.

Katelyn's eyes were red. "YES YOU ARE! DON'T LIE, DON'T LIE!"

"Katelyn!" Aphmau's eyes were begging. Her friend was seeing things-

Katelyn's rage was pummeled by Aphmau's gentle remark. "YOU DARE TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? AFTER WHAT YOU DID?"

Aphmau could hardly stop the next blow, and cursed as it bounced right off her blade and trailed down to cut her leg.

It was pointless for now.

She made a bolt to Garroth, hoping for the better, but of course got the worst.
