Chapter 1: Bucket lists and Inside Jokes

Because I am human and I suck at writing.

Have you ever had that one inside joke between you and your friends that you can not stop laughing about. Well that is apart of my everyday life and it's really quite terrible the things we come up with. In fact I am that one person you know that could be laughing at a funeral because of something that happened days ago or a joke that is so stupid that I could only understand.

Well my best friend Evelyn was that one person who i could be stupidly weird with and that is the way I liked it. Even though we have only known each other for four years of highschool school we have done some really hilarious things. Ok more like really annoying but funny things.

We are complete opposites in appearances.She is short with dark latino skin and long black wavy hair and she wears dark clothing .While I am over hear with blonde curly hair and super tall being like sunshine rainbows and unicorns.

Don't get me wrong we look completely the oppposite but somehow we ended up with similar brains.One of the creepiest things sbout our relationship is that we think way to much alike.

More like way too much alike. Let me just give you a image.

*Flashback to Freshmen year

My friends and I were sitting in a row in our chorus class in our stupid uniforms one of them who is Jocelyn started smacking her knee and we thought it would be a great idea to make it like a wave of knee slaps down the row of chairs. So us being our extremely stupid selves decide that was a great idea.

So we did just exactly that, after so many knee slaps our Chorus teacher Mrs.C had threatened us and told us to stop while the others in our knee slap wave decided that we should stop slapping our knees.

Evelyn and I being two very rebelious students were like naw if i can't slap my knee then I should slap my calf.

At the exact same time that Ms.C told us to stop both very unexpectly we looked at eachother laughing and slapped our calfs . And in that moment we realized how alike we are. I know that may not seem funny to you but I promise it was was very memorable for us.

This last week of school is gonna be terrible, because I only have four days to spend with her before we part our ways.

So one night when we were getting all emotional finally realizing how short our time is until we leave so we decide to make a bucket list. Listing all the things we have to do do before we get out of highschool.

And we were gonna follow through.

So people may think that having a highschool bucket list is somewhat cliche, right?

But to teenage girls who grew up with I Carly, The Sweet Life of Zack and Cody and the Princess bride it was nothing. And it was perfect to satisfy our cliche needs.

Our list was pretty good and the plan was that during the summer when Evelyn had to move I would send her pictures I took with my poloraid.

It is going to be a sad sad day when she leaves I'm going to miss her like an idiot who misses the point. If you know what I mean.

She was excepted into UPMC in the "City of Love" (AKA Paris ) with a full scholarship. She was wary of it at first because I wouldn't be there to join her but in the end I assured her that it was for the best and it was a great oppritunity to fufill her dreams of getting her PHD in doctornal medicine.

Honestly It's gonna be hard but hopefully it will be worth it. For her at least, sometimes I wonder why she applied to a college so far away but it's not up to me.

We only have a couple weeks left of school and Prom is coming up.

And I still have to find a date.
