I hastily dressed for the interview, unsure of what to wear. I settled on something comfortable, but not something that made it look like I'd just rolled out of bed. I brushed my hair in silence, giving myself a critical once-over in the mirror. "Alright..." I muttered, accepting that I look average...always have. I looked over at the clock. Half past 7...that gave me enough time to make the short walk to my meet up spot. In the back of my head, I couldn't help but wonder if this was a cruel joke of sorts. Why me? I'm sure there's lots of other people who deserved this opportunity more than me. Of course, just because I was being interviewed didn't mean I was in, but I couldn't help but feel like this Mark dude was really interested in me. I stepped out into the warm LA morning and walked as fast as my legs would carry me, weaving through foot traffic. It'd been awhile since I'd taken a walk, and it was quite nice to be back onto the sidewalks of downtown. I arrived to the coffee shop early, ordered a drink and sat down, keeping watch out the window. When I saw him, my heart skipped a beat. Not a bad looking guy, working with him would definitely be interesting just for the view alone. He probably wasn't single though...why would someone like him be? He caught me looking up at him. "Are you (y/n)?" he asked. I nodded, feeling robbed of my vocabulary. He extended his hand and I gently took it. "Nice to meet you. I'm Mark. Hold on a sec, I'm gonna grab a drink." I watched him walk off and order a coffee. I calmed myself, afraid he might figure out that I was developing a bit of a lustful feeling for him. When he returned, I was calm and collected, but my legs were crossed so tightly I thought they'd snap. "So let's go over a few things here..." he started. I listened to the words he said, I really did, but I couldn't focus on much other than him...and call me crazy, but I was beginning to think that he was doing the same to me. "(Y/N)?" I snapped back to reality. I just stared at him...unaware of what he had just said. I was lost in his eyes. "Do you want the position?" That's where we had landed? I looked at the clock. We'd been sitting here for long over an hour. Holy shit. "Yes, of course." Mark smiled. "Great! I was hoping you'd accept it. So...you said you have a day off today, right?" I nodded. "Would you want to come over and get familiar with the studio? It's important that you learn the equipment." There was something about the way he said that. It seemed as if the equipment wasn't the only thing I'd be getting familiar with... "Of course, you tell me when." I said. "Now?" he suggested. "I'd love to, but I walked. I'm gonna have to go home and get my car." "Not a fan of carpooling?" he asked, motioning to a vehicle with his head. I blushed. "Are you sure?" "I don't mind." he said, standing. I got up and followed him out, feeling lightheaded and nervous. "You okay?" he asked, turning and looking at me. "I'm fine." I replied, trying to play off my obvious nervousness. He gave me a bit of a suspicious look before unlocking his car and opening the door for me. "Hop in, intern." he said, jokingly. I obeyed, smiling awkwardly. He looked puzzled. "You sure you're okay? I mean if you want to, we can do this later." "No, no, it's fine. I'm fine. Just a bit tired." "You and me both." he replied. "I slept for maybe an hour last night...I was busy...and the next thing I know, it's almost time to come and meet with you." He jumped in the driver's seat. I just sat tensed up like an idiot while he drove through the streets of LA, talking at random about video games among other things. "So...are you excited?" he asked. Oh yeah, but in more than one way. I'm only telling about about one though. "I am." I replied. "That's good to hear. You're in a coveted spot. I had a lot of apps, but yours just jumped out at me." "I'm glad." I said. "You seem a bit nervous." "Oh...I do?" "No, actually, you seem very nervous. I'm not so bad..." I felt bad. "It's not that I think you're bad." I said. "Then what is it? Just stranger danger?" I didn't want to reply. "(Y/N), we're going to be working together...it's best if we clear the air if there are any problems." "There are no problems, trust me. At least not now." "Not now? Don't talk in circles, we need to sort this out." I bit my lip. "You're pretty attractive. That's all." I felt like such an idiot. I fully expected him to boot me from the internship position and never speak to me again, but much to my surprise he just laughed...a bit nervously at that. "Oh really?" he asked, looking over. I refused to make eye contact. "Well...thanks." I glanced over at him, his face was drenched in blush. "You're not so bad yourself. I didn't wanna say anything but...well since it's out in the open now, why not?" I was surprised. Plain me? Attractive? To someone like him no less? Seemed impossible. "I'm pretty plain looking, Mark." I said. "So?" he replied. "Who says that's a bad thing? Believe me, there's lots of flashy women here...and they're great...but they get boring so fast. I like normal...normal is good." I smiled. "So...I promise I won't tell your girlfriend you paid me a compliment." I said, fishing to see if he had a girl. "Oh, we're over with." He said. Jerk. Why did I have to say that shit? I should've just asked. "I-I'm sorry." I said, kicking myself. "Don't be." I left the conversation alone. "Well...I'm single, too." I probably should just shut up. "Are you trying to tell me something?" Mark asked, grinning a bit. "Not unless you want to be told." "Touche. What if I might?" "Then say when." We shared a look. "I can tell we're going to get along well." he said. Well, that was a nice comment. I relaxed a bit. "So...now that I know what I know, I don't just want you to check out the studio." he said. Whoa, that escalated quickly...but that was fine with me. "Oh? And what else is it that you want me to check out?" "Well you've been checking me out ever since we met...so I mean..." he looked over. "You move fast." I replied, amused. "I've literally never moved this quickly before..." I gave him a funny look. "Oh you really think I believe that?" I asked. His face reddened a bit. "Alright, maybe I've moved this fast before, but hardly ever, and I'm not a pig." Had any other guy said that, I'd have laughed...but something told me he was being honest. "Well, if you can make it worth my while." He chuckled. "You're my intern." he said. "You have some sort of an obligation to do what I say." I cocked my head. "Oh? Controlling, are we?" He looked a bit sheepish. "Not exactly.' he admitted. We pulled up to his house and I stepped out, following him directly to his studio. We passed a few people in the hall, and they seemed...interested in what was going on. "Don't mind them, they're just here helping me right now." He showed me around and I demonstrated my understanding of technology. "I didn't make any errors hiring you. You're better than I am." I blushed. "Like I said, it runs in my family." We stared at each other for awhile. "You know, it's soundproofed in here (y/n)." I shivered. "No kidding." I said. "Well..." he said, moving closer. "Make your move." I dared. He backed off a bit, intimidated. "I'm not gonna beat you up, Mark." I said, cupping his face. I felt goosebumps rise up on his skin. Before I could say anything more, he planted a kiss on my lips and roughly dragged his hands down my body. He fought to slip his tongue into my mouth, and once he did, he swirled his tongue through my mouth, making my knees weak in the process. He broke the kiss to hastily undress. "You're not recording this, are you?" I asked, removing my shirt. "I wish." he replied. "You know, for when you're not around." I rolled my eyes and plunged back into a heated kiss, our skin colliding. He pressed me up against the wall, bucking his hips against mine every now and again. I couldn't help but breathe his name softly. "You sound so sexy when you say my name like that." he breathed, biting at my earlobes. I felt every inch of my skin prickle. "I want you." he said seductively. "How badly?" I asked, taunting him a bit. "Bad enough to take you right here." he said positioning us. He asked me with his eyes, and I nodded. He slipped in and my breath hitched. I drew my nails down his skin, wrapping myself tightly around his body. He didn't say anything, but I could tell what he was thinking. The look he wore on his face...it melted me further. He wasted no time thrusting away, his breaths trailing down my neck and chest. "God, you feel so amazing." he purred. I twisted myself around him like a vine growing up a wall, responding to his movements with a few of my own. "You...you do, too." I exhaled. I slipped from his grip a time or two before he just looked up at me. "I've never been so great at this position." he said, laughing a bit. I laid on the cold floor. "It'll be better like this." he tossed a leg over his shoulder and pounded in, becoming more verbal and more involved. "Fuck, this isn't gonna last much longer." he panted, sounding a bit embarrassed. Truthfully, I was glad...because just one minor change in positions dragged me from feeling good, to feeling like I was going to explode. His breaths hitched in his throat, and he looked away. The sound of our skin colliding filled the room, and I focused on his ever-changing face. Just when I hit my climax, I felt the sting of him pulling out rather quickly. I whimpered a bit, not liking him leaving me, but understanding why he did. I felt strings of cum land on my abdomen as I laid on my back, catching my breath and asking myself how my life went from shitty and boring to fast paced and exciting. Mark leaned over me and planted a few kisses on my jawline. "So...this could be a regular thing." he suggested, pulling me close to him. "What? Cuddling sticky and naked on your recording studio floor?" he laughed. "It sounds awful when you put it that way, but that's exactly what I'm talking about." I giggled. "Well...I don't mind if you don't." I said. "Oh trust me, I'd love it if things were like this." I looked over at him. Who could say no to him? "It's a deal then." I said. "So when can you come back?" he asked, seeming a bit eager. "Whenever you need me." I said. He wiped at my abdomen. "That might be a bit more often than what you were expecting." he said. I giggled. "Email me a schedule and I'll make myself avaliable." I said, sitting up, searching for my clothes. "Sounds like a good idea." Mark said, doing the same. We dressed hastily, and gave each other a once-over. "Do I look like I just fucked someone?" he asked, fixing his hair. "Nah, not really." I said. "Do I look like I just got dragged down and fucked on the floor?" Mark ran his fingers through my hair. "Now you don't." he said. We exchanged looks. "Well, this has certainly been interesting." he said. I nodded. "Indeed. But...I liked it. I can't wait to come over here and help you some more." "It'll be fun. When we're not in here having some fun, there's plenty of content that needs some work." he ushered me out and we walked to his car. "So...I don't want you to leave." he said. "Well, it'll look a bit funny if I stay." I said. "I know...so...more coffee? Movie?...rough sex?" I laughed at the last one. "You think you're so innocent and coy, don't you?" I asked. He shrugged. "It was worth a try." "Let's just go somewhere and see what happens." I said, jumping in the passenger seat. He seemed excited about that. "I can tell right now the two of us are going to have a great business partnership." he said, looking over at me. For once, I was glad I got off the sidelines.
