Six months ago I woke up to the cries of my mom being smacked down by her boyfriend of 2 years, who was a piece of shit. It wasnt the first time I woke up to him beating her ass. My mom was finally threatening to leave him; I listened at the door as they argued in spanish.
Translation:

Mom: "I don't deserve to be treated like this Chito. If all your going to do is beat me, I can do better off alone."
Dickhead: "You think your going to leave me? After all I fucking done for you and your fucking daughter! If it wasn't for me yall would be out in the fucking street!
Mom: That doesn't give you the right to hit me. I'm tired of it and my daughter doesn't need to see me allow a man to treat me the way you do.
Dickhead: I'll kill you before I let you leave me Veronica, you hear me! I'll fucking kill you!

I peeked out my bedroom door and could see the living room; we lived in a small apartment . He had my mother pinned on the ground and had his hands wrapped around her neck; her face was turning red. I grabbed the kitchen knife from under my pillow and ran into the living room. I stabbed him in the back repeatedly until he was dead. I couldn't seem to stop my self. My mom had to pull me off of him.

I could feel my body starting to change, striking pains coming from where extra bones began to grow. My nails were growing sharp and my fingers were stretching and breaking to take on another shape.

🐶: Whats happening to me?!
Mom: Don't be afraid, embrace it. You have werewolf in your blood; when you killed Chito, you activated the curse. You can't stop yourself from changing.

The whole process of shape shifting from human to wolf was not a pleasant one. That shit hurts. I'm kind of jealous of Brittany. The way she's able to shift like it nothing. I guess that's why it's called a curse.

In wolf form I had yellow eyes with brown and blonde fur. My senses were heightened, I could see smells and hear everything in the apartment building. . My moms eyes changed yellow as she looked into mine; connecting to me with out speach, calming my thoughts. Seconds later she shifted into a larger wolf with brown and blonde fur and razor sharp teeth.

🐶: We had to eat his body so that no one found out.
🐩: Thats disgusting.
💀: It's real tho. She had to do what she had to do. I woulda never thought.
🔮: You never know who people really are until they show you.

We were all in one aisle, flipping through the pages of books in the demonology section. I was struck with joy when I was the first to come across the exorcism spell.

🐶: Found that shit!

Sonya winded up using a finding spell in order to find the spell for Tayva.

🐩: So we're really going to give her the spell to bring rise some nigga from hell?
💀: We're just gonna use it as bate.
🔮: It says it requires the heart of a Witch, the heart of a Werewolf and the heart of a Vampire.
💀: Fuck. We're a vampire down.
🐩: Its not gone matter if we just send her pawns, she won't know who's who.

When we walked downstairs from the second level of book shelves, we didn't see Wellingtons body on the ground anymore. My heart started racing in my chest as I scoped the perimeter trying to sniff him out. His body was close, but what moved it?
🔮: Wellington?!
💀: Why are you calling a dead man?
💉: Nah, I was just taking a nap.

We all jumped when we heard Wellington deep voice from behind us.

💉: What I miss?
💀: My nigga, you fucking died.
💉: Well technically I'm already dead.
🐶: I don't get it.
🔮: He's the vampire we were missing.
💉: I didn't know there was a name for it. I never met anyone else like me except for the people that made me like this.
🔮: The more you know.
🐩: So do we have a plan or not? Cause our hours almost up.
💉: Wait, no one answered my question. What did I miss?
🐩: Tayva got possessed by a demon and threatened to kill all of us unless we find her this spell to bring her demon lord boss to earth.
🔮: The spell calls for a Witch heart, werewolf heart and vampire heart.
💀: She said if we bring her the spell and the three bodies then the rest of us can go free.
💉: Damn, and I'm the only vampire aint I? So I have no choice but to go up.
💀: Nah, no body is going to be sacrificed Wells. Yall just need to keep her busy until I can get to the office and say an exorcism spell over the intercom.
🐩: I think I should take the place of the where wolf, that way if something goes down and she winds up tsking our hearts out she doesn't get all of the right ones to finish the spell.
🐶: How do you expect to trick her if she knows who you are.
🐩: You said your a werewolf right? Maybe if you let me see you shift I can mimic your form and just approach the scene as a wolf.
🐶: Its not like a normal wolf, its larger; beast-ier.
🐩: As long as its an animal I can shift into it.
🔮: So then Diana can go with Gio and Me Brittany and Wellington can take the spell to Tayva like she asked.

: What happens once we get there ?
🔮: I guess we'll see. Its three of us and one of her, how hard could it be?
💉: I don't like this. Where are the guys? I don't think the girls should go.
🐶: Females are capable of handling ourselves. We don't need a man to protect us.
💀: Damn right.
💉: I wasn't saying that. If anything, yall are smarter than us and are more likely to make it out alive. You see the movies, the last survivor is always a woman. If shit goes south and she winds up succeeding with what shes doing and kills us, I'm sure yall will find another way out of here. That's all I was saying.
🐶: Oh...
💀: Ok...
🔮: Well the guys are downstairs making sure no more demons come in through the pool. I hope they're good.
