A/N: Ugh, sorry that I haven't updated for a while. But I haven't left this project; in fact I have put a lot of thought into writing and the plot. I'll be honest, I don't think that I am going to continue my other story, but it will stay up until I feel I should take it down. I hope you are enjoying this. The last update probably confused you. It will be explained. Enjoy! <3

So here's the thing about my parents; they have been together for the past 17 years but still haven't got married. Besides that, you can bet that our family is just as normal as any others would be.
Mom had fallen in love at age of 18 like the naive teenager she was back then and decided to get married with her so called "love" after only three months. As one could guess, the relationship did not end well. Mom had found out about his affair with her then best friend. How tremendous, right? Luckily, she did not get pregnant and their divorce went pretty well considering that they were both young and didn't have much to fight over or lose anything. None the less, my mother, as anybody in her position, has had some serious commitment issues.
At 24, she met my father, who was then her biology partner, when she returned to college. Long story short, my dad was willing to wait for her and wait he did. They ended up having me when my parents were both 26 and 10 years later they adopted Annie from China when she was two. And ever since then we have always been one happy family.
And though I have always wished for them to finally seal the deal, I couldn't help but lose hope throughout the years. So you could believe that I am pretty psyched now that it's actually happening. "So you're serious about this?"
"Yep."
"And there will be a big wedding and everything?" I could barely contain my excitement.
"Yes. And you two ladies," Mom pointed a finger at Annie and I, "Are going to be helping me plan this whole thing. Everything is going to be perfect."
