A/N: Thanks for the feedback once again. I know you guys would like me to update my other story, but I honestly don't know if I'll finish that one. I started it for my best friend, Justin, but I don't think he really needs me to continue. And I think this project is more important but I might update if it does get a lot of comments and rates (Probably not). Anyways hope you like! <3

As I reach the nethermost of the stairs, I can feel my family’s eyes on me. From my view, I can distinguish that mom and dad are sharing uneasy looks and also seem to be sitting abnormally close on the diminutive love seat in our living room. My younger sister, Annie, is sprawled across a bean bag, looking somewhat impatient. “Amanda. Sit, sit!” Mom gestures to me as I near the room, as if I am a guest.
“What’s going on…?” I interrogate as I plop down onto a beanbag across from my sister.
“We have some news.” Dad states, before taking Mom’s hands into his. They both take a deep breath.
“Are you pregnant?” I hear myself say and immediately wish to take it back. Mom and Dad look at me with wide eyes and then at Annie who is now listening inattentively. She doesn’t seem to know what we’re talking about, which of course, is a good thing.
“No!” Mom assures me. “No, I am not. No. It’s a different type of surprise.”
“Does it require moving?”
“No”
“Did we win the lottery?” Annie asks.
“Not exactly.”
“Are we going on vacation?”
“Well, your father and I are going to…”
“Wait,” I then comprehends the situation. “You guys are going to…”
“Yes.” Mom beams, squeezing dad’s hand in anticipation.
“Going to what?” Annie questions.
“We’re getting married!”
