Chapter 4

"Hello, Yeen hear me?" He asked waving his hands in my face.

"Oh, um I'm sorry. I'm Tayah." I said back.

"Hmm, Tayah, I like that. I was gone ask ya name the otha day but you was too quick." He said.

"Sorry. I was just upset at the time." I said smiling.

"No problem,  just glad I'm finally talking to you." he said smiling too.

"You wanna give me a tour of this huge ass place.?" I asked as he laughed.

"Sure ma. " he said.

We walked and talked for hours. He showed me about 75% of the college. They had allow types of classes and halls. We stoped after a while taking a rest at a picnic table.

"So straight outta New Orleans. I heard it's pretty ruff out there." I said.

"Ruff ain't even the word. It's Hell on Earth. But I had to make it out. After dealing with that shit all through high-school and pushin those rocks ,I finally had enough money to move my mom's and niece's out to Houston. Then I decided I wanna do something with my life, so I'm here." he said.

"Damn." I said. "That's some deep shit. "

"What about you ma. Where you from?" he asked.

"VA. I miss it so much there. But I moved to Compton and I love it there as well. That's were I met the love of my life." I said smiling. "But we not together no more "

"I know the feeling. Love sucks bruh. That's why I ain't searching for a relationship.  I just want somebody  to fuck, and then in the morning we'll still be bestfriends, you know?" he asked.

"I understand. I need that too. Fuck ah relationship." I said.

It was quiet for a while. We just listened to the birds chirp until he interrupted.

"Lets be fuck buddies." he said outta know were.

"Anthony, we just met. " I said giving him a crazy look.

"Exactly. We know we don't wanna be in a relationship with nobody other than our loves but in the meantime let's have fun. Shit we in college, let's do it. Then we won't have to feel awkward about it cause were friends , we also don't gotta be self conscious. " he said.

I listened to every word he said taking it all in. I mean why not? I still have needs as a lady .

"Aight. Tomorrow meet me at my dorm. Room 216." I said.

"No feelings?" he asked sticking his pinky finger out.

"You childish." I said laughing before locking our fingers.

"Be ready. I'll be over at 2:45. " He said smirking.

"Okay." I said smiling before walking away.

After Tayah walked out I felt Chris and Honey's eyes burn a hole in my face.

"Um, we'll be back." I said to Jasmine and P.

When me Honey and Chris went into the kitchen Honey short ass was mean mugging the hell outta me.

"Did I miss something?" I asked.

"Nigga, Tay come to UCLA to be closer us and you. But this how you repaying her." Chris said.

"Woah, Tayah told me it was alright." I said.

Honey smacked the hell outta my head causing me to flinch.
