The Loyalty of A Friend

~Flash back~

"What's up bro," I heard a familiar voice greet.

I looked at my bags, I just finished packing them. I didn't want to get in the way of Adrien's happiness.

"Hey..." I said cheerfully.

"What's wrong? Who hurt you?" Her voice growled.

I laughed dryly.

Why does she always know when something is wrong.

"What? Nothing is wrong, I'm fine!" I grinned.

"(Y/n)."

She only ever uses my name when she's being serious.

"Yes?" I whispered.

"What's wrong?" My mutt friend asked. (I'm part Mexican, Scottish, Irish, German, Italian, and so much more, so I call myself a mutt.)

"I need help..." I shuffled.

"Do you remember what I told before you left for France again?"

"No... I don't," I sniffed trying to stop my tears.

Out of all of my friends she is the one that has always been there for me. Always.

It's her Loyalty.

She says that without her Loyalty she doesn't know who she is.

"I told you, 'If you ever need anything I will be there in a heartbeat. I will drop everything and fly to France. If you are being bullied I'll put them in the hospital, if you have a crush that doesn't like you the same way I beat sense into them, if you are having problems with friends there I'll deal with it.' (Y/n) I told you, 'If you ever need somewhere to crash my house is always open.' I meant every word," my friend said softly.

I let out a sob, "Would you let me stay at your place... for the rest of my life."

"Always."

She says I never need to ask.

"Will you help me get over Adrien?"

I told her Adrien is Chat Noir through text, will she remember?

"Chat Noir won't ever be in your thoughts again."

She always remembers, even when no one else does.

"Will you cheer me up when I'm sad?"

"Always have always will."

She says that being sad is her job.

"Will you help me up when I fall?"

"I have never left you on the ground."
