I roll out of bed with a killer hangover. I go downstairs and chug some water and eat a monster breakfast to try and combat it. I run my hand through my hair and I slowly feel better. Physically anyway.

"So, what happened?" Wendy asks as she sits with me by the table, excited to hear the details.

"Where are our parents?" I ask first.

"Work, now what happened?" She asks.

"Nothing." I say and I finish my tenth glass of water.

"Alex, I basically set you up, what happened?" She asks sternly.

"Fine, I picked her up, said she looked nice, we went to the bar. Got drunk, made out. Went home, made out. She asked if I was going to bring her inside and I said no because we were too drunk then she left, now I'm pretty sure she is pissed at me." I say and I put my glass in the dishwasher.

"You embarrassed her you ass, of course she is pissed." Wendy says. "Just talk to her." Wendy sighs.

"I'm getting rid of this hangover before I do anything." I say and go to my room. I lay down and run my hand through my hair, I doubt I'll feel much better without talking to her, so I text her.

Morning I send.

Morning. She replies.

You ok? You left pretty quickly last night. I ask.

I'm fine, just hungover. She says. I bite my lip.

Do you want to hang out today? I ask.

Not today, I'll see you tomorrow in school. She says I sigh and throw my phone on the other side of my bed. At least she replied.

I have a shower and smile at the remembrance of her lips on mine. Unluckily it is soured by her obvious annoyance with me now. I was doing the right thing.

I get dressed and go downstairs to watch a movie with Wendy.

"She is definitely angry." I say and Wendy lays on my arm, cuddling it almost.

"Yeah, I would be." I shudder at the thought.

"I did the right thing though." I say confidently.

"Yeah, and I'm sure she knows that. She is just embarrassed. Wouldn't you be?" She asks. I think for a second.

"Yeah." I say and I sigh. "What do I do?" I ask.

"Alex, I am fifteen. How am I supposed to know? I suggest you talk to her." She says and shrugs. I kiss the top of her head and we watch the movie.

The next day at school I see A by her locker getting her bag ready.

"Hey, can we talk?" I ask. She closes her locker.

"About what?" She asks.

"Saturday night." I say. She bites her lip and my eyes watch as she slowly releases it.

"There is nothing to talk about." She says.

"A, we both know there is." I say.

"Just forget it. I sure am trying to." She says and walks away. I sigh and we stay pretty quiet for the rest of the day.

By the time bio comes I get impatient. Our teacher doesn't turn up again so I turn around and look at A.

"A, we need to talk." I say.

"No we don't Alex." She says as she writes notes from the textbook.

"Fine, then just listen." I say. "I get you're embarrassed but there is nothing to be embarrassed about. We were drunk. I was just trying to do the right thing." I say.

"I know Alex." She says and sighs. "Just leave it." She says and gets up as the bell goes. I shove my book in my bag and follow her.

"A." I say and reach out to tap her shoulder. The strap on my bag snaps and everything in my bag flies everywhere, I trip and manage to catch my fall with my hands.

The hall gasps and laughs softly at me. A giggles, giving me a huge sense of relief. And some people help collect my things. I lift my hand but it is stuck. I pull and slowly I realise my hand has stuck to the floor with gum as a pink string connects my hand to the blob on the floor. Everyone gasps and ewes. A laughs and I swing my bag over my shoulder with the good strap.

Everyone slowly starts moving. And I peel off the gum on my hand. I wash my hands in the bathroom and I clean myself up a little. At least I don't look too awful. I walk out of the bathroom and A is waiting there for me, leaning on some lockers with the most kissable lips I've ever seen.

"You ok?" She asks with an amused expression. I smile.

"I am if we are." I say. She smiles and looks down.

"After that, I think we are good." She says I smile and we go to our lockers.

We walk out to the now empty car park and I lean on my car as I watch A get her helmet out of her bike.

"Alex?" She asks.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"Can we keep this thing between us, between us?" She asks.

"What thing?" I ask. A raises her eyebrows and I laugh. "Sure, why?" I ask.

"My sister, she will try even harder to get you." She says sadly, looking to the tarmac.

"I can control myself you know, I won't sleep with your sister." I say sincerely.

"You don't know her, she will do anything." She says seriously.

"A, I won't sleep with your sister." I say and I cup her jaw. "I prefer her sister." I say and A smiles. I smile too and kiss her, finally getting a taste of her lips again. Those damn soft lips.

"If you do, I will castrate you." She says quietly, but sincerely.

"Deal." I say and she smiles. I kiss her again and we stay like that for a while.

"Come back to mine? Wendy misses you." I tell her, making her smile.

"Sure." She says and we drive back to our places. She parks and comes walks over to me. I smile and kiss her again. "You know we have to go in right?" She asks. I smile, but I never want to stop kissing her.

"Fine." I say and unlock the door.

"How did it go?" Wendy shouts from upstairs.

"Ask her yourself!" I shout back as A laughs. Wendy runs down the stairs and smiles.

"A, it was not my fault he was an ass." She says.

"I know, he kind of made it up to me." She says and laughs. Wendy and A laugh as she tells the gum incident story and I roll my eyes. I eat an apple and when Wendy and A have finished catching up we go to my room.

"So, it looks like someone is happy about us." A says quietly as she lays in my bed with me like we always do, her hand now on my chest, drawing random shapes on it.

"Yeah, I am." I say. She laughs and I smile as I look down to see her reddening cheeks.

"So am I." She says and kisses me. "So what is us?" She asks, her hand slowing down.

"I suggest you be my girlfriend, then I can spoil you with good cause." I say and kiss the top of her head, making her giggle and shake her head softly.

"You don't have to spoil me." She says and looks up. "But I agree to the first half." She says and I kiss her again, smiling against her sweet lips.

"Ok." I say. "I'm still going to spoil you though." I say and kiss her, not stopping for the foreseeable future.
