"I love you Star," Tom said on the ground bleeding out.
Star had tears rolling down her cheeks as she held her fiance in her arms.
"Please Tom! Don't go! You can't leave me alone!" she cried.
"Star we have to go!" River said.
She held onto him, "Dad, we can't just leave him!"
Tom lay limply in her arms. "Let's go Star!"
She cried and ran to her father through the portal. They landed back at Mewni the Queen waiting for them anxiously.
"Star?" a muffled voice said.
She looked around wiping away her tears. "STAR!"

Star sat up abruptly, as she gasped for air, running her hand through her hair sighing as her eyes were at the brink of tears. She looked around to find Marco at the foot of her bed.
"Marco!" she hissed, "What are you doing here?"
He smiled and crawled onto her bed hugging her tightly, "I heard your calls, I came to check you were okay."
Star hugged Marco back eagerly as she wanted to forget that horrible memory.
"If my dad finds you here, you're dead! I can't lose my best friend!" Star playfully slapped his arm, as Marco smiled, he couldn't help but feel like a bad boy.
"So what?" he teased playfully getting closer to her face, "He won't really."
Star's eyes widened as she blushed profusely, she cleared her throat and pushed Marco away playfully.
"Oh he will!" She cried falling down onto her bed.
Marco fell down beside her, "So, how's the wedding coming along?" She whispered.
He shrugged, "Jackie's taking of everything." He groaned, "I hate her so much. I hate my parents for setting up the arranged marriage in the first place!"
Star giggled and started playing with his hair, twirling it mindlessly. "It'll be alright, it seems she really likes you."
Marco sighed and turned to face her, "But I don't like her!"
She sat up, "Marco, you know how these things work. They don't care if you like the person or not, it's about" she intertwined her hands together, "Joining kingdoms together."
He sat up quickly, "I should be a say in this! I am going to be the future king of the North, I should get to choose my bride someone who will stand by my side when things get rough. Someone who won't leave me when I need her most, someone who will fight by my side no matter what they're parents say!"
Star scooted back farther on her bed, "Marco-"
A knock on her door, "Star, you have a visitor!" Queen Moon called from outside her door.
Star pushed Marco under her bed as the door opened, "Hey Star."
The princess put on a fake smile, "Hey Oskar, how are you?"
Oskar walked in his blue cape trailing behind him. His bright blue suit made it easy to notice him anywhere. His gold crown was on top his head very king like.
"Good, the wedding is coming along great."
"Wed-" Marco began to say before Star kicked in the face.
That's going to leave a bruise.
"That's awesome! Did you get the lilacs I asked for?"
He scoffed, "Star, we're having a Muni wedding, not a Earth one. We're having the most exotic Muni flowers delivered here in a week."
She looked down and laughed sadly, "Yeah of course."
They talked for a while more before he left angry about something Star had said about Earth. He slapped her and Star was still holding her cheek after he'd left. Marco crawled out from under the bed and held her.
"It's okay Star," he whispered as tears rolled down her pale white cheeks, "We'll find a way out."
