Naghihintay si Rob sa may daungan nung makarating kami doon ni Jonathan. Inabot lang niya yung kamay niya sa akin saka ako inalalayan para hindi ako madulas sa may dock ng jetski.
“Nasa loob na yung mga guests, naghihintay.”
Tinanggal ko na yung life vest na suot ko saka naman inabot yun Jonathan na nakatayo na rin sa isang banda, obviously awaiting further orders. Rob smirks at the sight of me just in a scant two pieced striped bikini since I had taken my shorts and my cover ups sa villa ni Thea kanina.
“Liking what you see, Vergara?”
“You have no idea.” Sabi niya,
He hands me a plaid button up shirt though, and I just take it and put it on, suspecting na sa kanya yun dahil naaamoy ko yung pabango niya.
“Did you get Jake? Hindi ba kasama dapat siya sa pagwewelcome ng bisita?” Rob hands me something denim and I realized it was a pair of my own “shorts. “HEY! Where’d you get these?”
He raises an eyebrow. “Sa mga damitan mo.”
“Then why’d you give me your shirt?!” tanong ko incredulously. “You already got me shorts, bat hindi mo pa ako kinuhaan ng pantaas?”
“Just be thankful I even got you clothes” sabi niya rolling his eyes.
I frowned, and then saka naman itinali yung buhok ko in a bun. Rob just looks at me and I raise an eyebrow at him.
“What are you looking at?”
“I think I like you in my clothes.” Sabi niya.
I rolled my eyes. “Please, Rob. You and I both know that you prefer it otherwise.”
“You’re right. I do prefer you out of my clothes. Maybe nothing at all. ”
I punch him in the shoulders and he laughs. I blush and he takes pity of me and then saka naman kami naglakad kami and we reached the sandy pathway. I glance back at the boat that was about a hundred meters away from the shoreline. Sinundan ni Rob yung tingin ko.
“Are you sure na okay lang na iwan mo siyang magisa dun?”
Tumango ako habang lumiko kami papuntang mga villas. “Of course.”
“Hindi ba sabi niya, unang beses palang niyang makasakay sa ganoon?” sabi niya. “Wait, san tayo pupunta?”
“I’m going to my room and getting more clothes.” Sabi niya. “So it’s Thea’s first time in a friggin boat. What’s your point?”
“Edi malamang hindi siya marunong magpatakbo noon.”
I shrug. “She watched me plenty enough kanina.” Sabi ko. “She’s a fast learner.”
“And you think that’s enough?”
“You’re underestimating her, Rob.” Sabi ko, smirking habang binuksan yung sa kwarto ko. “I’ve seen her flip Jake on his back with one try. I’m pretty sure she can handle a boat.”
He seems to get the idea though, and he stops arguing with me, which was probably better since papasok na kami ng room ko. Narinig ko siyang magsalita, addressing Jonathan na nasa likod lang naming dalawa.
