================================================================================

I jerked my head as I heard something. Leaves crunching.

Someone was coming closer to me. I got up and headed to the middle of the field. I crouched down, so I was un-seen.

I saw a dark shape coming closer to the log I was just sitting on. The light caught their face.

Mitchel.

Why was he here? He hated me.

A wave of confusion swept through me. Why would he come looking for me?

"Delilah? I don't know if you're here, but I hope you can at least hear me. I don't hate you. I only said that because I know I can't feel the way I do about you. I love you. I always have. I've hated every guy who've ever been with because I knew they could never be good enough for you. I know I'm not either, but I could try. I love you so much. I'm so sorry," he said as a tear fell from his left eye.

Mitchel sat down on the log and put his face in his hands. I stood up and started walking towards him.

I know Mitchel could hear me, vampires could hear a fly 50 miles away. But his head stayed in his hands.

I sat down next to him. Mitchel finally looked up at me. His eyes full of tears. I laced my fingers between Mitchel's. He smiled slightly.

"You know how I feel about you, and now I know how you feel about me. But we can't be together. We could both end up dead," I told him quietly.

"I'm willing to take that chance," he said squeezing my hand. "I'm not. I would never forgive myself if something happened to you because of me," I told him with a sad sigh.

MItchel's hand reached up and cupped my face. "Nothing will happen to me. I want to be with you. I don't care if I get hurt. But I will make sure nothing happens to you."

"You're really willing to take that chance?"

"Of course. You mean more to me than anything. You're my best friend, and the girl I love. I would be nothing without you."

A smile spread across my face. I nodded.

I felt myself starting to lean in. Mitchel lips grew closer and closer. My eyes darted up to his. His eyes gleamed with love.

I closed my eyes. His lips hit mine.

His lips were soft, warm, they fit perfectly against mine. His hands made there way to my hair, his fingers becoming tangled. I wrapped my arms around his neck.

I felt myself sliding of the log. I hit the ground hard. Mitchel was hovering over me within seconds. "You okay?" I nodded, as I pulled Mitchel's lips back to mine.

Our lips moved in sync. I felt his tongue graze my bottom lip.

When I didn't let him in, his teeth bite my lip, hard. I moaned, giving him his chance to slip his tongue into my mouth. I felt him smirk against my lips. His tongue brushed mine. Causing me to moan again.

I pulled back slightly taking a quick breath of air before pressing my lips back to him. Mitchel rolled over, so I was sitting on top of him.

I sat up, smirking as I noticed Mitchel pouting. I slammed my lips back to his. Mitchel's hands played at the bottom of my back. His hand went up my back, scratching slightly.

My fingers pulled at his hair. He moaned loudly into my mouth. Mitchel start grinding against me.

I pulled away from Mitchel delicious lips. "To fast," I said as I tried to breathe. Mitchel nodded. "I agree."

I sat up still sitting on Mitchel. I looked up to see a million tiny lights. I had always loved stars.

I turned my eyes back to Mitchel, to find he was staring at me. I lilted my head to the side. "Why are you staring?" Mitchel blinked in surprise. "I couldn't help it." I laughed slightly before pressing one last kiss to his lips.

I yawned. It was getting late and I was pretty tired. "Will you come back to my place with me? I don't wanna sleep alone," I asked. Mitchel nodded and picked me up, bridal style. I laid my head on Mitchel's chest and closed my eyes.

I felt the wind rush through my hair. I re-opened my eyes to see we were standing in front of Mitchel's house.

He took my up to his room and laid me on the his bed. He pulled the blanket over me, warming me up quickly. I yawned again, struggling to stay awake.

Mitchel turned to leave. I grabbed his wrist before he was to far away. "Lay with me?" He nodded. "I'll be right back, okay?"

I nodded and let sleep take over.
