Chapter 1 ~ It's useless this boy despises me.

Me, Liam, Harry, Niall, Louis, Zayn, Ally, Maria and Farah are at the drive-in movie theater. We have a pretty big friend group so it was hard to find places we all enjoyed. The drive-in was one of them. I was with Niall and Zayn in the back of Zayn's Pick-up. The rest were in Louis's car since they were "Couples." It's true. Harry and Maria were an item and so were Farah and Louis, and Liam and Ally. They are having a romantic date night while I am stuck with Zayn.

Zayn was always so rude to me, all the time and i had no idea why. I tried to be nice to him for the first few years i knew him but after awhile i just gave up.

It's useless, this boy despises me.

We're watching the disney movie "FROZEN" and Zayn won't shut up about how stupid the movie is. I do my best to be as close to Niall as possible, despite the fact that i'm not one of his favorite people. Even though we never really talk, he's still friendly.

"The cold never bothered me anyway!" A woman sang on screen.

"Could this be anymore childish?" Zayn calls out to the screen making half the lot sush him.

Zayn has an easily noticed british accent, so does Harry and Liam. I think that's why they have such a strong bond.

"Oh, come on! This is why i hate Disney!" Zayn shouts yet again and i am pretty sure the man in front of us was about to back up and run us over.

"Zayn! Can you please keep quiet?" I ask as politely as i can. He ignored my plea.

"Look! A talking snowman! Well, HOORAY! Isn't this the party of the month!"

Ok, that just plain didn't make sense.

"ZAYN!" I whisper-yell at him. Putting my finger over my lips to tell him to shut it.

"Kaera Lee, You're just grouchy because Liam is over there with his girlfriend and not with you!" He snaps. Zayn loves teasing me about the fact that my best friend is a guy and thinks i am in love with Liam.

"First of all, for the millonth time i don't like Liam! Second, stop calling me Kaera Lee. Only friends can call me that." I say to him.

He puffs out his bottom lip and begins to fake cry. "Oh no! I thought we were friends, Kaera Lee, i'm hurt!" He places his hand over his heart as if he was wounded.

"Stop fighting! I'm trying to watch the movie!" Niall demands.

I glare at Zayn, he just laughs at me and continues to curse at the poor Disney snowman.

I hear the crunch of the gravel in the lot and see Liam and Ally walking towards the concession stand. They stop in front of us.

"Will you move? I'm trying to watch the movie!" Niall shouts at them.

"A moment," Liam starts. "Kae, he giving you trouble?" Liam asks me, pointing at Zayn.

"Of course he is." I say, seriously.

"Want to come up with me and Al to get some more popcorn?" He asks. Ally flips her blue-streaked, blonde hair over her shoulder and smiles at me. I like Ally, she was nice, but i have only known her for a year and something in her reminds me of Regina George from Mean Girls. (If you don't know, Regina was not a very polite person, to put it nicely).

"Yes, please." I glance at Zayn before getting up. He was staring at the screen waiting for another moment that he could curse at. I slide off the back of Zayn's pick-up truck and follow the couple.

They talk to each other the whole time and exchange "i love you"s more than once. I don't mind it, this had been my life with Liam for the last 5 months and i knew me and Liam had our time too.
