Brooklyn's Pov

It's been 4 months and Sasha is still in a coma. If your wondering, Yes, I did go home, I did take a shower, I did go back to school, and I did move on with my life.

After about 2 weeks, I gave in (more like gave up) and went home with mom. I went to church more often and prayed daily but Sasha's health conditions didn't change.

I started to stop believing that a God existed because he wasn't helping Sasha's situation.

At one point I just wanted the hospital to declare her dead because I hated seeing her body just lay there sleeping. She pretty much looked lifeless.

The people who did this still haven't been caught. Jeremih and I talk but not as much. We haven't seen each other though, we just text dull conversations.

School is hell. Everyone knows about my family's situation. Students are always talking about me and teachers are so sympathetic towards me. I hate it so much.

Right now, I'm sitting next to Sasha praying that she wakes up. "Wake up Sasha, I know your not dead. I know your somewhere in there. Just please open your eyes," I said. "All the monitors say your breathing," I continued.

I put my hand on her neck and felt her pulse. It seemed normal. "I felt your pulse and it seems normal," I said, "Please wake up Sasha. For me. Please. We miss you. I miss you," I said as a tear dropped from my face. I held her hand and continued to cry. I rubbed and kissed her hand. "I know there's nothing wrong with you Sasha. Just wake up please," I pleaded. My voice sounded in defeat.

My stomach started to growl. I dug into my pocket and found some money. I got up and was almost out the door when I heard the heart monitor start beeping rapidly.

I soon heard a scream. I turned around and seen Sasha awake trying to catch her breath.

"SASHA!!!" I ran over to her. "What happened? Why did you scream? Are you Ok?" I asked.

"Huh? Who's Sasha?" She said and my heart dropped. She can't be serious. She has to be joking with me.

"Stop playing with me Sasha,"I quickly said. She looked at me. "I'm being serious. Who are you and Who's Sasha?" she replied. She looked serious.

"Stop joking Sasha. This isnt funny," I said tears rolling down my eyes. "You don't, you can't have amnesia," I continued to sob until I heard someone laugh.

I looked up at Sasha to see her laughing. "Stop crying," she said, "I'm ok," She continued to laugh.

I punched her in the arm. "That's not funny," I said. "Ow! Yes it is funny," She responded.

She looked around. "Why am I at a hospital? Why does my head hurt and why is my body sore? What happened to me?" she asked.

I looked at her confused. "You don't remember anything that happened?" I asked and she shook her head. "Well, you were in a coma for like 4 months," I said.

"How? What happened?" "That's not important," I said, "What's important right now is that your ok. Are you ok?" I asked and nodded her head.

"Are you sure? Because you just screamed. Why did you scream anyway?" I asked. Sasha looked down, "I'd rather not talk about it," She said.

"Brooks, Why does it smell like gas in here?" She asked. I looked at her confused. "What are you talking about? It doesn't smell like-,"

Sasha started to shake violently and foam started to come out of her mouth. I quickly got up and ran out the room.

"I NEED A DOCTOR IN HERE!" I yelled. Medical staff made their way to the room. I tried to enter to see the chaos that was happening in there but a nurse wouldn't let me in.

Instead she led me to a waiting room. I sat down and started to cry. "Damn!" I yelled as I punched the wall. I pulled out my phone and texted mom what happened.

I wasn't in the mood to speak and plus the hospital was gonna call her anyway.

My phone started to ring. I looked and saw it was mom. I let it ring. I just sat down, with my hands on my face, crying like a baby for my sister.
