Chapter 24

Brooklyn's Pov
I heard footsteps and I quickly put his phone back in place. Shawn walked in the room.

My heart started racing and I stopped breathing for a second. He grabbed his phone and walked out of the room.

I let out a big sigh.

"Who was on my phone," Shawn yelled. He walked back in the kitchen.

"Did you go through my phone," He asked. I couldn't say anything. I was just too scared so I simply just shook my head.

He just looked at me and walked away. I let out another big sigh. I got up and walked back to my room.

Beyoncè' Pov
I was on my way to work when I get a text from Brooks. I pulled my car over and opened the text.

It was a screenshot. I opened the screenshot. I read the conversation. Who's this Janice girl and why did Brooks send me this?

I then opened the video and lnew exactly who Janice was and why Brooks sent me it.

I was furious. How dare he play dirty like that. I turned around and headed toward the Attorney's Office.

I walked in and requested to speak to the District Attorney. She took my request and I walked over to her office.

"What is it Sergeant, I'm busy," she said as she plopped down at her desk.

"I have a new case for you," I said as I sat down across from her. "Which is?" "A man by the name of Shawn Carter slept with a judge to alter her decision," I replied.

"And how do you know this?" She asked, "Because of this evidence," I replied as I showed her the screenshot and the video.

"Is this all sustaniable," She asked and I nodded. "Ok put a warrant out for his and the judges' arrest. Come back to me when you have a confession from both of them," She said.

"Yes ma'am," I said as I walked out. I walked back to my car and put the warrant out for them.

I started the car and drove myself to work. On my way to work, A car cut infront of mine almost causing an accident.

I flicked on my sirens and the car pulled over. I got out of my car and walked slowly and cautiously to the other car.

I made it to the car and knocked on the window signaling for it to go down. The person inside the car slowly put the window down.

The person in the car was Shawn. "Get out," I said, "Why," he asked, "Because there's a warrant out for your arrest. Now get out or I'm gonna use force," I warned.

He slowly got out of the car. As soon as got out. I pinned him to the car and put handcuffs on him.

"I thought you weren't gonna use force?" He asked. "I didn't. All I did was put the handcuffs on you. I pinned you to the car to make sure you don't run away or resist in any way," I replied as I searched him for weapons.

He had none. I walked him over to my car and read him his miranda rights before putting him in the backseat.

I went back over to his car and searched it. I confiscated all the illegal substances and anything else I thought would be usesful for the case.

I then called a tow company to come tow his car. I went back to my car and drove off toward the station.

"What's gonna happen to my car?" He asked. "It's gonna be towed and why do you care. You should care about what's gonna happen to you," I said.

"I bet your real happy about this," He said, "Hell yeah, I'm happy," I replied as I parked my car.

I got out and got Shawn out too. I walked him in and led him into an interrogation room.

I walked out and the judge walked in and was led to the booking area.

"Amy, I'll take her," I said and Amy handed her over to me. I led her into a different interrogation room.

I walked out and called a meeting. In the meeting, I told them about the case. They all went to work.

I'm so happy right now. I'm gonna get my babies back.
