Sasha's POV

Mom had just left for work. Before she left she told me to check on Brooks so I did.

When I entered the room, she was staring into space. She only does that when she's stressed and needs time to think.

"What's wrong Brooks," I said as I sat down next to her. "Our entire life is a lie," she replied.

"Stop exaggerating," "You just don't understand," "Understand what," I asked.

"You know the person who we used to call our father," "Yeah," "Well he isn't our real dad," she said.

"I know," I said barely above a whisper. "What," she asked, "I said, I know," I repeated. "What do you mean you know,"

"I mean I already know. Mom told me a long time ago," I said.

She was pissed. "I don't understand why she keeps secrets from me but tells you everything. I'm her daughter too. Right,"

"Right," "Then why doesn't she tell me anything," "Because your too emotional. You'll be sensitive towards everything she tells you," I said.

"So," she said, "Sometimes I feel as if I'm not apart of this family. So what I would react to what you tell me but I deserve to be told the truth. I'm just a big disgrace to this family," she continued

"No your not Brooks. Stop thinking like that," I said. "Just shut up. I don't wanna hear you," she said and left the room.

I followed her into my mom's room. She went into the safe where my mom keeps her gun.

Out of all the secrets my mom kept from her, she told her the password to the safe.

Brooks with her crazy self took the gun and pointed it to her head.

"Corey, call mom," I said, "Why," "Just tell her to come home quickly," I said and Corey did as told.

I went back in the room. Brooks was crying and looked very hesitant to pull the trigger.

"Brooks, please don't do anything stupid," I said, "If you pull the trigger to that gun. There's no going back," I warned her.

"I know," she said. We soon heard sirens. "Why the hell did you call mom," she yelled at me as tears rolled down her face, "To help you," "I don't wanna talk to her. I swear if I see her, I'm pulling the trigger."

I heard the front door open so I rushed out of the room to stop her from entering the room.

"Stop, don't go in there," I yelled at my mom as she walked passed me. "Why," "Because she said if she doesn't want to see you and if she does see you, she'll pull the trigger," I said but was too late.

By the time I finished my sentence mom was already in the room and Brooks pulled the trigger.
