"Okay, okay," I said, trying to hold in the laughter. "We will stop."
"What?" Lucas says, looking at me and then at mny two best friends that exhaled, relifed. "No, we won't."
He leans in, giving me another kiss. I smile into the kiss, soon kissing back.
"Ow, come on!" Maya shouts, covering her eyes.
"Guys, you are really cute and all, but must you do it in front of us?" Farkle says, patting Mayas' shoulder. "I mean, we kind of ship this," he motions at us, smiling. "but we'd rather not watch you guys locking lips as if we're in the front row in the cinema, watching a movie, thank you."
Lucas laughed, throwing his head back. As I looked at him with a smile, I realized this is one of the few times I've seen him laugh this hard and smile this much. It was a good feeling, seeing him smiling and being happy. I was sure he and Farkle would get along really good.
Though, Maya. I wasn't as sure about her. Last time she saw Lucas was when he and Missy Bradford were doing it in the janitors closet. It wasn't the best way for them to meet, but I knew Lucas would win her over just like he had done with me and like he will do soon with Farkle, as well.
"You're funny." Lucas says, pointing over at Farkle who looked a little surprised at first, but soon grinned proudly, nodding.
"Thank you, Mr. Friar." He said.
Lucas shook his head, pacing over to Farkle and putting out his hand in front of him. "You know you can just call me Lucas, yeah?"
Farkle rolls his eyes, "Of course, I know."
He took Lucas' hand and shook it, both doing those boy-ish grins.
Maya shakes her head, heaving a sigh. "Riles," she looks my way. "art is starting, you coming?"
I nod, "Yes. I just have to quickly go get my note-pad in my locker."
"Oh," Lucas says, "I'll come with you."
I blink, shaking my head. "No, you're going to class."
He rolls his eyes, "Obviously, but I'll folllow you to your locker and make you company to class. Isn't that, ehm," he looks opver at Maya and Farkle, "what boyfriends do?"
I chuckle, "Not this time, Romeo. You're not missing class becasue you want to do boyfriend-ish things. You've got class with Farkle, go with him and me and Maya will just catch up with you two at lunch, okay?"
Lucas heaves a sigh, nodding. "Fine."
I pout my lisp at him, "Aw, is Mr. Sheep boy sad?"
He sends me a glare, scoffing. "I'm not and don't call me that."
I shrug, "Fine, okay. Sorry."
He shakes his head, making a tsking sound with his tongue, "Good-bye, princess and princess' friend." He bows at us and both me and Maya roll our eyes.
"Good-bye," We say before they leave.
"So," Maya starts as we make our way back to our lockers. "How is little miss girlfriend?" She says, nudging my arm.
I laugh, locking our arms together, heaving a sigh. "I am good. Now that I'm with you, I am much better even."
"Don't tell your boyfriend that," she laughs, "he gon' be jelly." She says, mockingly.
"Whatever," I laugh.
We kept walking, talking about random stuff like school, TV-shows and food. It was just like old days when we would talk randomly about random stuff, not really caring what subject we got in to.
