Meghan's POV

"Why did she kiss me? Does she like me? Is she bi? Is she gay? How do i respond? Will we get together? Does she know i like her?" my head is filled with questions. I sit in the corner of the bathroom and I put my head to my knees. This is so over whelming. I start to feel stinging in my eyes. Don't cry, Meghan. You're at school. Hold it together Meghan...Right before i start to cry, Kitty walks in. "Hey Meg." She says, slowly approaching me. "Um...I'm sorry. I just really wanted to kiss you...er....i mean...." Kitty gets down and sits with me. I look up at her and see her tearing up. I can feel the tension building between us. Kitty scoots closer and hugs me. "I'm so sorry Meg." We sit on the floor for awhile. She let's go of me and gets up. She reaches her hand arm so i grab her hand. Kitty pulls me up and gives me a real hug. I wrap my arms around her and rest my head on her shoulder. "Do you like me?" She pulls away from me. I freeze and stare at her. Why did i say that? I didn't even mean to say that. Damn it, why am i so fucking awkward? She rubs her arm and backs away a little. "You...uh...you don't have to answer. I get it." I look at the floor and start walking away. I walk into the hallway and it's empty. Class must've started. "Yeah...I do." I hear Kitty's voice echo through the hallway. I pause and spin around pretty fast. "You do?" I can feel my face getting hot. "Yes. You're beautiful. You're smart and i love your shyness. You read a lot, like me! So yes...i like you." My face is burning up and i can see she knows i'm blushing. "You're really cute when you blush." I blush even more. "Um....th-thanks. I...uhhmm....i like you too..." Did i just say that out loud? "Wait, really?" Kitty says. Her eyes shimmer as she walks to me. "You didn't hear anything...i didn't say anything. Nothing happened..." I keep repeating to her. "Why? What's wrong with telling me you like me?" "Nothing! Well.....nothing. I just...never thought i'd tell anyone...especially you." She stands right in front of me and grabs my hands. I look at the floor then she puts one of her hands under my chin and lifts my head. "You're adorable when your nervous." Kitty said as she pulls my face closer. I start freaking out and i think she was able to tell because she let go of my hand and put her arm around my waist. Adrenaline kicks in and I just kiss her. I wrap my arms around her and hold her close to me. Kitty puts her other arm around my waist. We stand in the hallway kissing for what seems like forever. Then the kiss ends. I pull away, and look away because i'm scared to see her reaction.
