It was just a normal day. I was permanently living with Shane at this moment - I had moved in with him when I was 17 - and nothing seemed out of the normal. I was lying on the couch and scrolling through the channels when my phone buzzed.

I get up from the couch and walk into the bedroom, where I originally thought he was. Instead of finding my boyfriend, I find an empty bed. Well, empty aside from the petals scattered all over it.

I groan and he must hear because there's soon another message in my inbox.

BVBBOY666: nah jk, I'm in the top room

I grin and quickly walk to the stairs before rushing up them and taking two at a time.

"Babe?" When I reach the top, I glance around at the small attic type room and see a giant teddy bear sitting near the window, white rose petals scattered around its feet.

"Hey," I jump at the voice behind me and when I turn around, I immediately scream and run into his arms. "Oh wow, okay, calm down."

"Don't tell me to calm down, you asshole!" I cry out and he laughs, hugging me tighter. "Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
