I look around me at the quaint little town, it looks like something straight out of a postcard. I aren't surprised that there's so much traffic, this place is like my own version of a paradise. I can see why Miles uses this as his getaway. He parks the car and the four of us get out.

The sign above me says the hotel is called The Royal Hotel. It stands on the corner of the street on top of a cliff, looking out over the harbour at one side and over the coastline the other side. It looked like one of, if not, the biggest hotel in town. Almost opposite the doors, stood two whale bones in the shape of an arch. There were people walking through them and a lot of them stop to take pictures underneath the arch. Beside that stood a statue of a sailor and benches were littered all over, some only a few feet apart, looking out to the horizon, some had flowers tied to them and had plaques with engravings. I make a mental note to look at them later and turn back to look at the hotel in front of me, as the boys get our bags.

I walk over to Mason, who has my bag in his hand, and try to take it from him. He just moves it out of my reach and raises his eyebrows at me, grinning. I roll my eyes and follow Sam inside.

The entrance has a blue carpet with a slight pattern and blue chairs near the door, there are marble pillars framing the front desk and beside it is a cabinet displaying jet jewellery for sale. I go over and look at the black stones as Sam walks over to check in.
