Emilia was afraid to love, her whole life she had been surrounded by love that never works out in the long run. Her mother was a prime example, she fell in love, got pregnant, broke it off with the father causing him to walk out on them, one relationship after another and it was all the same. nothing ever lasted. Emilia often wondered if real love even existed, and if it did she'd never seen it.
Derek was afraid to love too, but in his case his fear was control. Unlike his family Derek still struggled with control, he tried everything but none of it worked. Derek thought that he could never get a girlfriend because he had no control, his parents tried to tell him over wise but he never listened.
After both of their lives colliding, Derek and Emilia find themselves facing their fears and realising that each other were the answers to all their problems. that is, until it all goes wrong.

Hey everyone, before you start reading there's some things to should know
Ahh I'm so exited for this, I can't wait to start the series!!
- this is based in 2005, a year before the fire
- there is no Paige, I have altered the Paige storyline to fit Emilia , there will be some similarities to that storyline so I can fit it into current teen wolf
- as this book is basically a prequel it won't be massively long, the second and third books will be longer
