Chapter 17~ Nowhere.

"Where the fuck are we?" Nicholas whispers as we park the car. They got a lead on where Quinn was already but it seemed very sketchy. We stepped out of the car and Nick grabbed my hand tightly.

"Where is Tyler?" I ask as I look up at him. He looks around the place and in the distance I see an old building. It looked scary but Quinn could be in there.

"Tyler is on his way with some of the pack too. Only the warriors, of course."

"Are we going in first?" I ask and he immediately shakes his head.

"Of course not, you are not going in." He hisses and I glare at him. I look away from him and he releases a sigh.

"I can knock on the door or try to go in, asking for help. I can pretend to need their help and I'll try to check if they have Quinn in there or if there's anything at all." I suggest, still not looking at him. He just holds my hand tighter and I look up at him.

"No. You will not be in there. What if they took you too? Fuck no."

"Alpha. Luna." Gage looks at him and nods his head at me. "We think she is in that abandoned building." He points over to it.

"We figured that much." Nicholas says and nods.

"Should I tell them to go in?" He gestures to the cars behind mine. There were about five and they were full of fighters.

"We need a plan, we cannot just go in there like that. They can hurt her."

"I'm going in. I can help!" I say to Nick. "You guys can just be hiding in places around me, watching me. This can work! We're wasting time. Please." I beg Nicholas and he looks upset. I think I'm convincing him though.

"Fine. I'm going to be the closest next to you and we'll have the rest around too. Inside and out." He tells Gage.

"Alright, I'll inform them." He runs over to the cars and tells them to surround the building.

I was nervous. Hell, what if it didn't work and I died? I know, I suggested it. It could work and it's worth a shot to help my best friend who is like a sister to me. She's been there for me, now I have to return the favor.

"H-Hello?" I ask out loud. I walked into the building because surprisingly, there was no door. I smelled rogue scents around here and so did the warriors. Nick was a couple of feet behind me but by a wall so they couldn't see him.

"Who's there?!" Someone growls. I wince at their tone and clear my throat.

"I just need help, please." I plead. I hear footsteps and see a shadow coming closer to me. This time I do not back away. There were almost no lights in here and it was getting dark.

"What do you want?" They say harshly.

"I-I need water, please." I crack my voice to make it sound more believable. I hear footsteps approaching and suddenly, a man is in front of me.

"This way." He cracks me a creepy smile while looking me up and down. He motions for me to follow with his hand and I gulp. I follow him slowly as his big and loud footsteps allow our warriors to get closer without being heard.

He leads me to a big room that was filled with spiderwebs and dirt. It was disgusting. I'm also very afraid of spiders.

"It doesn't look like there's water here." I whisper. He chuckles darkly and I look at him with wide eyes.

"We don't have water here." He pushes me into the room and I scream as my body hits the concrete. I quickly stand and try to get out but he shuts the door. I try to pull the handle but it's locked.
