RIVA

Inside, we found first aid kits that can help us tend our wounds. Marahil ay galing ito kay Mr. Bennett.

Walang umimik sa aming lahat. Some where staring off to space. Who wouldn't? The recent event was traumatizing.  Watching your colleagues die infront of you was the most terrible thing that you could ever experience.

"Makakalabas pa kaya tayo ng buhay sa loob ng Maze na ito?" Tanong ng isa sa mga kasamahan ko.

Napatingin kaming lahat sa kanya. Iyan rin ang tumatakbo sa isipan naming lahat.

"Negative thinking can only serve as a hindrance. Do not dwell on what happened tonight. Tandaan ninyo, unang araw pa lamang natin dito at marami pa tayong pagsubok na haharapin sa mga susunod na araw. What happened today should serve as a lesson for all of us. This Death Game requires our skills, strength, and most importantly,  team work." mahabang alintala ni Tadashi

"But we might die on the process."

"Yes. We might die but atleast we gave our best. We died fighting." pambasag ni Tadashi sa katahimikan.

"It's a lot to process. We should take a rest guys. A lot happened today and our body needs to recover from the shock. Kailangan natin ng lakas para bukas, kung anumang dagok ang haharapin natin." wika ko.

Nawa'y gabayan kami ng Diyos.  Alam kong bukas ay panibagong pagsubok na naman ang aming haharapin. Sana makayanan namin. Dala na rin ng pagod, unti-unti akong dinalaw ng antok.

The next day came, I woke up earlier than I expected. The sound of birds singing outside the cave filled my ears. It sounded so serene but I knew it was only a cover up for the evil that reeks in this place.

I decided to take a stroll outside the cave. I need to find fresh water and food for us to eat and  luckily, I found a stream not far from the cave.

Water ✔️

Now all I have to do is to find food.

Wait!
Streams in a forest usually have fish!

But how on earth am I gonna catch one? I mumbled.

"Gumawa ka ng sibat."

Right! Wait! Am I hallucinating? Why am I hearing Tadashi's voice?

"Because I'm behind you idiot."

I turned around and found the big headed jackass devil named Tadashi, smirking at me.

"Good job for taking the initiative to find food and water for us. And for finding a way to save us from the wolves last night." He commended.

Woah. The devil commended me. Should I do a happy dance now?

"Don't let that get through your head witch." He continued.

I should have known that he is a descendant of Satan.

"Here. You can use this." He gave me a long stick with a sharp bottom edge.

Or maybe not.

"Thanks." I said gladly taking the stick.

I lifted my pants a bit so that it wouldn't get  wet from the water. And slowly made my way to the stream.

"See that rock?" Tadashi asked. I nodded.

" When fast moving water flows into a small inlet, or eddy, it slows down and creates a whirlpool. Fish will feed where the whirlpool is slowest, or in the main body of the river or stream where the whirlpool kicks out the food that has been carried in and out of the eddy. There might be fishes there. But knowing you, you might end up scaring them away. Goodluck though." He continued on with a stupid smirk on his face.
