I stood on the free throw line waiting for Justin Jackson to shoot his free throw.
I looked for Malik along the line but I didn't see him. Why would coach take him out?? But then I turned my head further out toward Justin's direction, and he's standing there behind the 3-pt line.
He was most likely back there and not on the free throw line because he's the best 3-pt shooter on our team.
He looked so calm, so collected, as if everything wasn't on the line right now. Unlike me, which you could probably see the distress and worry plastered all over my face from a mile away, despite the fact that he has those two weird, long wrinkles that almost always live upon his forehead.
They make him look cute hehe.
He glanced at me and I quickly looked away and turned my attention back to the game.
I have known him for a while now, about a year ever since we became best friends and roommates. I was the one who actually kinda convinced him to come to Kentucky after I committed!
We've grown together, been rambunctious together, gotten closer to each other, he's the one I've bonded closest with. And after all these months with him, I had gotten a crush on him. My own best friend! And I've never ever felt this way for a guy before. I think I'm still straight?
Ugh, I'm disgusting. What would he think of me if he found out.....
