Tamikas POV

I woke up to the smell of burnt toast and the strongest coffee ever made and the sounds of laughter and chattering between a joyful little girl and a handsome young man.
I made my way downstairs to see my daughter and husband making breakfast. I smiled at the sight of my family and went to take a seat at the kitchen table.
"Mommy are you taking me to school today?" Annalisa my 10 year old asks me.
"No mom has to meet Auntie Nella maybe daddy can carry you"

"Anyways  Imma go get ready"

I smiled then began eating my horrible  breakfast.

Brianna POV
"You know you're gonna make me late babe" I said to my 19 year old best friend Trevor.

"Babe but you promised,you can't break your pinky swear"he said pouting.

" I know but I have school and you have work so lets get ready"

"OK woman OK "

I got up from the bed,stripped myself out of my clothing and took a cold shower. I dried my body and slipped into my formal clothes which is a black pencil skirt,black short top and a brown shirt. I curled my hair and applied makeup and accessories before putting on my pumps and exiting my room to see my bestfriend all dress up in a black shirt,black pants with a brown tie. I pecked him on his cheeks and descended down the stairs. We entered the car and I got comfortable since it's a long drive from our house to my school.

"So babe when are you going to visit your family?"

"I have one more week for school and we gonna take a trip back home"

"You sure you're ready to take me home to your family"

"Yeah I think it's time although they don't know about you"

"Aite your choice imma support you on one condition tho"

"And what's that condition"

"You succeed great in this semester and we travel there the very next day deal"

"Deal"

"Now get out of my shit lemme go to work"

"Whatever"

I got out of his car and watch him drove off I then made my way onto campus to study. My phone started ringing as I found a comfortable spot under a tree.
"Hi"

"Hey my name is Junior I'm Alicia's best friend"

"Hey nice to meet you Junior"

"I can say the same, so are you free to come here for dinner?"

"Yeah at what time?"

"7:30 at Ms. Augustus's house"

"OK Junior I have to go now hope I get to meet you officially in person bye tell my cousin I say hi."

"Good see you there"
I hung up Junior and started my journey to my first class which is English. Im so excited to see my family the last time we met up was for Christmas when our grandparents died. They aren't really my family but since Tamika and Jenella considered themselves as sisters I call them that. I missed my big sister and my niece everyone back home I miss everyone especially my home boy Anthony we are so close we think the same although he's smaller than me I love him as a brother.

School passed by in a drifty. It was fun since they cheerleaders kept a concert for the rest of the day so I got to sneak away early.
"What should I wear?"

"Trevor wear something formal since he said its a dinner"

"Wear red just like me"

"Okay you find my suit and I will find your dress deal"
