chapter 14

Jarrel's POV

It was 2 am in the morning, I woke up to Amanda's phone buzzing on the table,she was sound asleep so I got up to check it I quickly slide the screen to unlock and I saw a text from a contact saved as Mark I checked the message and it read babe are we still meeting tomorrow ? Miss u so much can't wait to kiss those lips..
I quickly shut off the phone and made it back to my bed which my ex girlfriend occupies. I quickly fell asleep.
I woke up at 6 am to Amanda stroking my abs with her finger I smiled at her and asked her the question I've been longing to ask "who is Mark?" she stopped stroking my abs and watched me with a blank expression on her face.
She then spoke softly and said "um he's my friend,why do you ask?"

"Because he texted you last night saying he wants to meet you today because he misses you and also wants to kiss you "

She began sobbing in my chest and I know from right there she was cheating on me I hugged her tightly and told her we can still be friends she nodded her head
My life has really taken a huge turn at first my baby sister give away her virgin to my best friend and then I lost my girlfriend to some nigga name Mark I started to ignore both my sister and best friend but today is gonna be a change in things I'm gonna straighten out things with my sister and best friend right after my shower.
I quickly showered dressed in a blue checkered shirt with a dark blue jeans and went across the hall to my sister's room to chat with her. I reached her room and there was sobbing coming from her room I quickly entered without knocking and there was nella hugging a sobbing mika I made my way over to them and comfort mika. She then told us why she was crying,because her boyfriend Ashton broke up with her, I kinda got angry because Tamika is like my other small sister. She soon fell asleep and I texted Khelvyn to tell him come over while Jenella got ready in the bathroom.
Ten minutes after we were all settled in the living room to discuss our little conflict since mom and dad are not in town.
"So how did what happen happen between you guys ?" I asked hoping they put it brief because I don't want to find out about my sister's personal life.

"Well it all happened because I was drunk and well we got too close together" khelvyn said very quickly I just nodded and asked my other question.

"Is there a relationship between y'all or that was just a one night stand?" I asked

"Yes khelvyn and I are in a relationship" Jenella spoke

I excused myself and khelvyn to discuss something . We stepped outside and head for my jeep and went for a drive. We drove to a nearby park and sat there.
"I can see you really love my sister ,but if you only hurt her you better prepare to run for the rest of your life because when I catch you you won't like it, we cool man. I said meaning all of my words.

"Yeah we cool I love your sister I won't do anything to hurt her."he said with a huge smile on his face. We did the man shake and got into the vehicle heading home.

We reached home in approximately 10 minutes and there was no one in the house so me and khelv decided to hang by the grill side. We made grilled burgers and rum punch. I called the girls home and we had a beach party just us four, Brianna was on a play date with her new friend Chrissy. Khelv got little tipsy but he's fine, he and nella was chatting at a corner of the pool while me and Tamika was cuddling on the pool chair eating burgers.
The day soon came to an end and we settled for a movie night since there's nothing important to do I told khelv he can stay over but he's not sleeping in nella's room while mika and I went to buy the chicken and drinks we picked up Brianna on the way there, she was babbling all about her new friend I promised her she can spend a day with her again if she fall asleep early tonight because we all will be consuming alcohol tonight we don't know what's gonna be happening .
We reached back home and while they set up the living room I prepare dinner for Brianna. I remembered everything that I was thought at my school in home economics class. I made her a tacco with orange juice with a little bit of a fruit salad. I'm just gonna spoil her tonight . she ate very slowly but she finished in time and I let her bathe and dress, I tucked her into bed read her a bedtime story and she quickly fell asleep. I made my way downstairs and they already started to watch my favorite movie The matrix the girls didn't like the movie because it was kinda scary but tonight was our guys night to pick. I sat down in the same seat with Tamika. In the last part of the movie Tamika fell asleep in my arms so I carried her up to my room since I don't want to wake Anna (short form for Brianna) up I laid her down gently but I didn't succeed because she woke up and look energetic as ever so I laid down beside her and cuddle she told me stories about her vacations and soon it was 12:00 am and both of us didn't feel tired so we went downstairs to cook.
Jenella and Khelvyn were fast asleep on the couch, we tip-toed to the kitchen to the pantry to get snack and head out to the pool. Mika took of her clothes leaving in her bra and panties and jumped in the pool, i sat on the pool chair since I don't feel like swimming for now. I eat some snacks and made my way to the pool minutes after to join mika. I hopped in the pool and swam over to her side we chat like old times mostly about me because she told me about her before we kept the conversation light until I felt like kissing her so I lean in and our lips moved in sync her lips were so soft and her mouth tasted like grilled beef, she pushed me away and I immediately felt like a jerk because her ex just broke up with her and I'm here kissing her this day was to make her happy. I quickly apologized and she smiled at me and nodded the rest of the time we swimmed, ate and watch the stars in the sky.
