chapter one

Waking up to early morning music playing and listening to my aunt Lucia singing along while making breakfast is just how my morning starts .
Today is my last day in high school so i got up from my bed and quickly strip off my clothes and headed to my shower for a hot steaming bath, i washed my hair and scrub my body parts,i quickly got out of my shower to get ready for my day i blow-dried my hair then curled it. I then went over to my walk in closet to my outfit for the day it was an Long damaged jeans with a pink one shoulder top and to top it off i wore my pink converse then i add a little amount of lip gloss on my lips and i was ready to go down stairs for breakfast.
"Hey good morning Aunt Lucia" i said to get her attention.
" Hey Nella I'm making pancakes and syrup want some?"she asked in her loving sweet voice
"Yes please it smells wonderful."
I sat at the table and texted my best friend Tamika.
Me:"almost ready, u still picking me up?"
Tamika:" yep I'm Right around the corner"
I quickly ate my breakfast and waited for Tamika outside my house.
Minutes after she came and we started our drive to school.

Our school is two blocks away from my house. I attend Fusion Academy,it's a private school but the students make it seem like an public School. We finally arrived and i hopped out of the car to the front to meet Tamika, as soon as we entered school the bell rang signalling us to get to our first class as soon as possible.

Lunch finally came and the halls became crowded with students. The head teacher voice came over the radio saying"Good day children, aren't you all happy today is our last day for school and our summer vacation soon starts but listen up children we decided to give you all half day since its summer so go on my beautiful children enjoy your day", and there was silence. Everyone was so happy but i was feeling jolly because tomorrow i will be leaving New York to visit my family in California.
