Arq chuckles briefly, only to swiftly transition to a serious expression. "I really, really like you, Lara."

Those words from Arq leave her in stunned silence. She anticipates that they will linger, keeping her awake tonight.

ARQ joins her family for the weekend, catching her by surprise as she didn't expect her to accompany them to church. Notably, Arq and her dad seem to be getting along, which is a good thing.

It appears that everything aligns perfectly; she finds herself thinking she doesn't want to be separated from Arq. If it weren't for the awkwardness of asking her for a sleepover, she would extend an invitation herself. But of course, she needs to steer clear of appearing too easily attainable. 

Furthermore, they make it a point not to skip their nightly video calls. By doing this, they can deepen their understanding of one another, causing her to become more smitten. Who could have anticipated that the very beast she despised would become the one to stir butterflies in her stomach?

She consistently finds motivation to attend university. Who wouldn't? Being picked up every day by the most striking and confident girl in all of Georgetown adds an extra layer of inspiration. If only they could stay inseparable during their time at RDGU. Even after class, Arq ensures to accompany her home, whether she has other engagements or not.

Today marks their examination day, and she desires to answer her tests with precision, unaffected by any distraction from Arq's presence. Because they will be under Arq's supervision.

Even though Arq hasn't arrived yet, she is already anxious—imagine when Arq actually shows up.

While waiting, she opts to conduct a last-minute review, fearing the embarrassment of obtaining the lowest rank. Until Arq finally appears, donning a sophisticated appearance that captures everyone's attention.

In her ensemble, she sports an oversized black shirt featuring a large white "0" on the back, paired with cigarette pants and gray Vans shoes. Casting a slight imperfection on her attire is the arm cast, an element not meant for removal at this stage.

In their conversation last night, Arq revealed her wish to wear semi-formal clothing similar to what she always wore as a substitute professor. Unfortunately, her arm cast hinders this preference.

Nevertheless, her overall outfit today does not diminish her intimidating presence in the slightest. This only amplifies her anxiety.

"Morning class." Arq greeted with casual nonchalance.

Some of the students didn't bother to greet back but Arq remains unfazed.

"Regarding last week's announcement, I assume you're aware of Professor Diaz's situation. That being said, I'll be overseeing this class while you take your exams. I expect honesty so any form of cheating may result in expulsion." She warns with a stern tone.

Hindi naman siya mandaraya kaya hindi iyon ang dahilan ng kanyang pangamba. Natatakot siya dahil iba ang kaseryosohan ng itsura ni Arq ngayon.

Ano'ng meron? Pakiramdam niya sa tuwing nagsusungit ito ay may ginagawa siyang masama. Kaya napasimangot siya nang bahagya.

She feels a surge of tension in her stomach as Arq initiates the roll call. When her name is mentioned, Arq deliberately locks eyes with her for a brief moment. She maintains a steadfast expression.

Subsequently, she starts handing out exam papers.

At the onset of their examination, her focus begins to waiver. It's a relief that Andy isn't part of the class; otherwise, she might indulge in mischief and intentionally engage in chitchat with her to taunt Arq.
