Dear Diary,
I'm tired and also happy all at the same time. While I was on the road I had a very nice conversation with Amber. I am really happy to have her back and to be away from that hell hole of a family is a real dream come true. For the first time I went to a carnival. It was really fun and Amber let me eat a lot of cotton candy and fried dough. We rode roller coasters, played in the bumper cars, saw a play, and even rode the Ferris wheel. At the end of the night we climbed up a tree to watch the fireworks light up the sky. Now I'm tired and I hope I never wake up from this dream again.
Love,
Kayla
