Gonna try and write in Nick's POV this chapter

"3 in the morning."

I can feel my face drop. "3 in the morning?" I repeat.

He nods. "That's why I wanted to hang out. I won't be back for three to four weeks," he frowns.

"Well, let's not stand here. Let's have fun," I smile. He smiles right back.

What we did wasn't what most people would do for fun.

No, not you're thinking.

We built a giant fort in his basement, which we decorated with Christmas lights. We ordered pizza. We watched just about every Jillian Jensen cover on YouTube.

When the pizza was finished and his laptop was back in his room, we were both tired, from doing nothing at all.

I yawned as he layed down on the giant pile of pillows. He opens his arm. "Come hither," he yawns.

I giggle at his dorkiness, and lay down next to him, his arm around me and my head on his chest.

"I'm sorry," he says, as he plays with my hair. "For what?" I ask.

"Leaving again," he replies. "Nick, you're living your dream. I mean, sure I miss you when you're gone, but you're happy, and that's all I care about," I tell him. "You're the best," he says, and I can hear the smile in his voice.

We just lay there, silent, in the giant fort, which now smells like pizza. He continues playing with my hair, and before I know it, I'm drifting into sleep.

-----------------------------------NICK'S POV------------------------------------

I continue playing with Kacey's hair. Within ten minutes, she's fast asleep. I smile. It hurts having to leave her here again. She has Jillian, and Isabelle, but she's out of town. But Sara's so rude to her.

I lean my head back on the pillows, and drift off.

I'm woken up not too long later by my sister, Lex.

"Nick, come on. Time to go to the airport," she whispers. I look at my phone. It's 1 am.

I look down at Kacey, frowning. I hate to leave her.

"Nick. Mom and dad are waiting. Go, I'll stay here, make sure she gets home alright," she tells me. "Alright," I nod.

She leaves. I kiss Kacey on the head, careful not to wake her. "See you soon, Kace," I whisper.

I carefully move out from under her, and walk, more like crawl, out of the fort. Lex is standing there.

She hugs me. "See you in a couple weeks, bro," she says. I hug back. "See ya, sis."
