Chapter 4 ~Why does a puddle of water need a sword?

Start from the beginning

"Sorry Sasuke but since the sword's not here, going with you will have to wait," Suigetsu walked past us.

I kept my boredom to myself as we went back to town. "What do you intend to do?"

"I'm going to search for it obviously; for generations the Seven Great Shinobi Swordsman had a system where they passed down their swords. I admired those seven and was trained by them; now that Zabuza-senpai is gone, the Throat Cleaver belongs to me."

I was roughly pushed to the side, almost falling before Sasuke grabbed my arm and steadied me, as someone walked through our group.

"Why don't you watch where you're walking you retarded asshole!"

I grit my teeth and glared at him. Wait a minute, I know him. Suigetsu raised a finger but Sasuke stopped him. The man turned back around, "hey you got a problem with me buddy!"

I pushed past Sasuke, "you little bastard, I can't believe you're still hanging around here after the stunt you pulled!"

He turned his glare to me, "what'd you say?"

"Attacking Inari and his mother like that, under Gato's orders, I would have expected them to run your wuss ass out of here!"

I was suddenly yanked back by Sasuke as he glared at the guy. He cowered in fear before speaking in reverse and turning back around.

"Just watch where you're going," he said before stalking off, swearing under his breath.

I gawked at him, "you just rewinded him that's so cool!" He turned his look down to me; I gulped and gave him a nervous smile.

"Wow you're way nicer than I am Sasuke. How did you know that guy?" Suigetsu looked to me.

My gaze flickered to Sasuke, his eyes narrowed. "I used to travel a lot," I grumbled. He gave me a funny look before letting it go with a shrug.

"So... how are you gonna make up for hindering my revenge? He did just almost mow down sweetheart here, I'm surprised you didn't do something yourself," he smirked.

"Hn," he released his hold on my shirt.

"I know, how about we stop for something to eat," Suigetsu suggested. "Alright!" He started to lead the way to a small shop.

"Mmmm man this yogurt is the best!" Suigetsu exclaimed. "It's been forever since I've had it, it wasn't exactly on the water tank's menu," he laughed.

I'll say, he was on this seventh bowl already. I looked down at mine, I was having a bit of trouble finding the appetite to eat.

Reason one, Suigetsu keeps making disturbing noises while eating his. Two, because the looks the waitresses are sending Sasuke are making me sick and three... I'm worried one of said waitresses is jealous that I'm sitting next to him (I had to sit on the inside of the booth so he could 'keep an eye on me') and spit in my yogurt.

"You're fine with goofing off here?" Sasuke rose an eyebrow.

"You're the one in the hurry, not me... so what's the plan once our little adventure group is set up?" Suigetsu asked, licking his spoon.

"I'll let you know when the three of you are together." Sasuke mumbled.

"Hmm, hey let's conquer the world! You're not going to say something like that are you?" he chuckled.

"If you want to conquer the world, do it with your own team, I'm after something bigger... something much bigger."

Killing his brother is something that only Sasuke would think is bigger than the whole world, I rolled my eyes.
