CHAPTER 4 *~*
So far we had been traveling for three days and I'm just thankful that Suigetsu is such a lazy ass. He asked for breaks so often it made it possible for me to travel at their pace, if it wasn't for him I probably wouldn't have made it this far. He also taught me how to use my dagger, he said I probably couldn't hurt a ninja with it, but against a normal person I would be fine. Suigetsu is hilarious, he tells the funniest stories, even if they might be a bit inappropriate at times but compared to my world it's hardly as bad as it might seem to people here; and he makes traveling with Sasuke bearable.
I sighed loudly, "Are we there yet!" I whined.
"Would you answer her already, she's been asking for hours!" Suigetsu joined in.
"It's only been like 10 minutes Suigetsu," I deadpanned.
He turned away, "well it seems like hours, cause you never shut up," he mumbled.
"What'd you say? I didn't quite catch that," I glared at him. He smirked.
"Quit fighting it's just around this corner," Sasuke intervened. I huffed, as much as I liked him, Suigetsu has managed to learn just what to say to get me riled up and has made it his source of entertainment.
I broke out in a grin as the bridge finally came into view; we paused it front of it, staring up at the name. The Great Naruto Bridge. I heard a low chuckle of amusement beside me, I glanced over at Sasuke, a light smile on my face. That's the first sign of emotion since I met him... maybe there's still a small ray of hope.
"The Great Naruto Bridge? What a strange name."
"Please, that's an amazing name," I frowned at Suigetsu.
He laughed, "if you say so sweetheart," he took a long drag from his straw.
He turned to Sasuke, "so tell me was Zabuza-senpai strong?"
He didn't answer, he was too busy having a mini flashback... not that Suigetsu knew that.
"Of course he was, toughest cow pattern wearing swordsman there ever was," I said with a smirk, drawing his attention from Sasuke and allowing him his moment of nostalgia.
He chuckled, "he still wore those old arm and leg warmers?"
I nudged Sasuke lightly after a bit, bringing him out of his trance. I rose an eyebrow with a knowing smile. He glared at me slightly before striding forward, "come on let's go."
We walked through the town and up the slope until we came to the ridge overlooking the valley where Zabuza and Haku had been buried. Suigetsu went on ahead while Sasuke and I hung back.
"It isn't here, a man took it... he lives in a big castle to the south," I whispered.
"I had a feeling it might have been taken, do you know his name?" Sasuke asked. I shook my head.
"It's not here!" Suigetsu called. "Hey Sasuke are you sure this is the spot?" he turned back to look at us.
"Yeah." Sasuke grunted.
"But it's gone now... so where is it?"
"I don't know I'm not the groundskeeper so don't ask me. If it's gone someone must have taken it."
"I guess so, it's not like it grew legs and walked away."
I gave him a look as Suigetsu turned to inspect the graves. Why didn't he just tell him where it was? Is he still sticking with that test? He ignored me.

FanfictionNote to self, when a sign says DANGER... it means it. Aria is less than thrilled when she falls into the world of ninja. She's defenseless and has no idea where she is or how to get back to her own world. The only thing standing in her way is the Sa...
