Chapter 8

Laura's POV 

I woke up to find my phone ringing on the desk I get up and I got a text from an unknown number. I unlocked it to see what it said.

[Unknown no. 2:37 P.M.] I know who you are Laura.

[Laura 2:38 P.M.] How? What do you want from me?

[Unknown no. 2:38 P.M.] I've been following you around the building.

[Laura 2:40 P.M.] Why me?

[Unknown no. 2:40] You'll find out soon.

I turned around to find Carmilla sitting up on her bed and staring at me.

"Look at this." I said handing the phone to Carmilla.

"I think it's the stalker." Carmilla said handing me my phone back.

"I have an idea." she said while getting up taking my phone out my hands and logs into her computer.

"Hate to ruin your training of thought but what is it that you're exactly doing?"

"I'm tracing it back to the location from where it was sent from."

"Did you get it?"

"Yeah it's from this building. Hey, hey no, no, no, no!"

"What? What is it?"

"I just got hacked."

"Really? Just great we were this close to finding out who this person is." I said throwing my hands in the air.

"Yeah." she said.

I opened the door to the bathroom. I standed in front of the mirror looking at myself. I ran the water running in the sink and cupped my hands together to get some water in my hands poured it on my face. Carmilla walked in.

"Are You okay?" she asked.

"Yeah. My face felt dry."

"Yeah ok." she said while handing me a towel.

"Thanks." I said while wiping my face with the towel. I put it in the basket and headed out.

I looked at my alarm clock. It was 3:06.

"Well I'm going to got to bed." I said.

"Yeah. Well goodnight." Carmilla said.

"Goodnight Carm." I said.

I headed to bed and turned off the lights.
