Thunder crashed outside the windows, causing the walls to shake with the impact. Kylee sipped her hot green tea as she sat Indian style on her bed, watching the rain hit the roses on the bush outside.
She had been texting back and forth with Dennis all morning while Leigh continued to go in and out of the bathroom with her hangover.
Kylee had made some tea for her as well, but the poor girl couldn't keep anything down right now. Kylee continued watching as rain fell, wondering if Dennis was also getting rain. She wondered if they were even only a door away, or an entire continent away.
