Normal is boring

The Call Chap. 1

Mia's POV
I was walking in the front door when my phone started ringing. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and answered it.
Phone Call
Me - hello
Mom - hey I have to tell you something
Me - sure anything mom
Mom - you're moving in with me
Me - What! But you live in North Carolina that's all the way across the country
Mom - honey I know you love Cali but you have to
Me - why
Mom - I'll explain when you get here your flight leaves tomorrow at noon
Me - fine see you soon does Dad know
Mom - yes bye hon
Me - bye mom
I went upstairs and packed my stuff then went out with my friends to tell them
Sam - I'm gonna miss you
Kim - me too
Gale - same here
Melissa - y'all don't take all the goodbyes
They all hugged me and we said our goodbyes then I had to go cause it was about 10pm.
Next morning
I woke up at about 8am and collected all my things and got ready. By the time I was ready it was about 10am so I got an uber and headed to the airport. When I got there I had 30 minutes till the flight so I went to Starbucks.
After the flight
I got off at about 7pm and mom told me to call her when I got off.
Phone Call
Mom - hey honey
Me - hey mom where are you
Mom - I can't pick you up so I sent a limo to take you to a hotel to spend the night
Me - umm okay where are you
Mom - in Arkansas I'll be home tomorrow
Me - okay bye
Mom - bye
I found the driver and he drove me to a really nice hotel. I walked inside and checked in. As I was walking off the elevator I ran into someone. That knocked all my stuff out of my hands.
Me - oh I'm so sorry
Guy - its fine that's my fault
Me - I'm Mia by the way
Jonas - I'm Jonas
We shook hands
Jonas - umm do you want help with your stuff
Me - oh yea sure
We both kneeled down and gathered my stuff and our phones.
Me - my room is over here
We walked to my room and he set my stuff on the bed
Me - thanks so much
Jonas - no problem by the way my room is right next door
Me - really that's cool
Jonas - umm I was about to go eat do you wanna join me?
Me - oh sure just let me plug my phone in its probably almost dead
I walked over and grabbed my charger but when I plugged it in my phone was on 50%
Me - oh nvm let's go
We walked to the elevator and went down stairs to the hotel restaurant. After we ate we both went up to our rooms and exchanged numbers.
