Day Plone is a depressed, dysfunctional, and hated Outcast. She lost her parents in a car accident when she was ten. She lost her grandpapa two years ago due to a heart attack. All she has left is a caring, hard working Grandmother who tries everything she can to make her granddaughter happy. She is bullied everywhere she goes. Besides the mean comments and the pushes, nobody pays any interest in her. So when a sexy mystery guy calls Day and tells her she is going to be his muse for his psychology project, she is no doubt surprised. What will happen when the mystery guy and Day get closer? What if mystery guy has problems of his own?
