Lyrix, William, and Kenton's POV:

Matsu: I can't believe it either.

Kenton: Is Matsu speaking to that thing?

William: It appears she is.

Lyrix: For some reason I feel like I don't belong here.

William and Kenton: *Shakes head* Agreed

???: This is incredible. No mere human has ever spoken my language before.

Matsu: Really? I thought there were at least a few who could.

???: There was one person who could. That was-

Matsu: Lady Iris.

???: Correct. You would be the second.

Matsu: Wow.

Lyrix: Matsu!

Matsu: ...........?

Lyrix, William, and Kenton stood in between Matsu an the copycat with swords in their hands. The copycat began to growl and got furious.

William: We will protect you Matsu.

Kenton: Yea you can count on us.

Matsu: What?! What are you-!

Lyrix: *Turns* Let me see your hand.

Lyrix grabs Matsu's hand and wraps it with a cloth.

Matsu pulls her hand away.

Matsu: *Ties the cloth herself* I don't need your help, Lyrix. I was doing just fine on my own.

Lyrix: ..........!

Matsu finishes and walks in front of William and Kenton. The copycat calmed down once again.

Matsu: ..........

William: Matsu stay ba-

Matsu: I told you three to stay down. Did I not?

William: Ms. Baxter. We were just-

Matsu: Did. I. Not?

Kenton: Yes, ma'am.

Matsu: You two were ordered to watch over Prince Lyrix. You were not ordered to watch over me.

Lyrix: But Matsu. The monster-

Matsu: She is not a monster, Lyrix. She was forced to do something she didn't want to be a part of. And she feels bad about it.

???: That is very true. I feel awful. I'm-

Rin: Bark Bark.

Matsu: Rin! *Kneels down*

Rin runs into Matsu's arms. Matsu gets up.
