Jefferson sat in the tree with his mentor, trying to figure out what to do. He was tired of just watching the girl sleep at night and attend to daily routines. He wanted to ask if there was anything he could do to help her discover her abilities, something other than feeling like a bird sitting on a nest. He had known his mentor a short time but knew too many questions aggravated Jameson.

  Looking at his mentor, then back to the mortal girl, he didn't know what to say to him. He wanted to say something but knew to word it carefully. He looked at the girl who was holding her head. She looked frustrated about something, but he couldn't tell exactly what. 

"What's wrong with her, sir?" 

"The girl is aggravated. She knows something about her is different but she hasn't figured it out yet." He replied to the newest watcher.

"Can we help at all?" 

"We are helping. Our job is to keep her alive and sane if possible." He replied.

"Is that it?" 

"Pretty much yes. The girl is starting to question her reality. That will get things moving along." 

"How long until she figures it out?" 

"To be honest I don't know. When she does, trust me we'll know, that is certain." He told Jefferson
