Cain POV
Once we touched down by the stables we found Alexander and his friends waiting for us. I jumped down first and held my hand out to help Clara down but in response she slid down Excaliber's side and said,
"Hands to yourself blondie." I shook my head and chuckled.
"I see that you've brought a wife back or do you have a different relationship with her?" Alexander asked with an almost smug smile.
"Actually shes-"
"I can speak for myself thank you," Clara interjected in a smooth voice "My name is Clara MacKenzie Smith, it is an absolute pleasure to meet you." She said bowing slightly, placing her left hand across her chest while placing her right across her back and crossing her legs pointing her left foot. My eyes widened at the action where did she learn to do that?! I thought trying to wrap my head around it. I was so lost in thought that I almost missed what she said next. Straightening she placed a hand on my shoulder and in the same smooth voice said
"Cain here is my bodyguard."
