30. Abyss of Time

TUmakbo silang apat papunta doon sa English club, when they opened the door, they saw a girl, sitting on the chair, her hands were chained even her foots, may dalawang mechanical needle na malapit sa kanyang mata, sa gilid nya, may timer na ten minutes.. "Tiffany?" Sabi ni Alice, di sya makapagsalita dahil may panyo na nakadikit sa bunganga nya, dali dali silang pumunta sa computer at may kakaibang files ang nasa computer... May isang message na nakasulat doon sa papel. 

I neeD your Eyes ADam, will you help please?

"I need your eyes..." Sa computer, may four underlined blank letters, they have to figure out kung ano iyon? "Why does he need eyes?" Tanong ni Alice.

"Don't you see? Her trap is all about her eyes, we have to figure out what does this message means... Let's see... I need your eyes Adam, will you help please?" Sabi ni Matt. "It is some sort of code dito sa message na ito, more like, the character needs an eye, pero, ano naman yung code doon?"

"Maybe... May kinalaman ito sa napanood nating video kanina, that doll said that we have to recall the video because we will be needing it." Sabi ni Alaina sa kanya. They looked at the timer at may 8 minutes left na lang sila na natitira.

Unang nakita nila na si Squidward ay nagpa-practice ng kanyang clarinet, of course, palaging sabog yung mga tono nito. "Squidward was having his rehearsal para sa kanyang 'concert'.... Palaging out-of-tune yung tonong iyon." Sabi ni Daniel.

"And also, nang pagdating ng kanyang concert, everyone was booing him when he played his clarinet, maybe... The audience trying to humiliate him in front of everyone." Sabi ni Matt.

"That's right then, dahil dyan, na depress sya at biglang naging pula naman ang mga mata ni Squidward, more like, gory eyes." Sabi naman ni Alice habang nakatingin sya sa computer.

"Then... May mga pictures doon ng mga patay na bata na dinecapitated at pinatay ng brutal."

"So that means.... It requires the word... Dead." Sabi ni Alaina. "What are you talking about sis?" Tanong naman ni Matt sa kanya.

"The answer is dead, you see, ang main theme ng Squidward's Suicide is all about death, did you watch how those childrens die? Did you see the bloodshot eyes of Squidward? All of it has bloods and bloods resembles Death at.... Yung message na iyon.... The hidden word is Dead.." Kinuha ni Alaina ang papel. At binasa nya iyon.

"I need your eyes Adam, will you help please? Okay... Kaya ko nasabing dead is because, yung mga capitalized na letra are the answer to that test, Dead.."

"I neeD your Eyes ADam, will you help please? See that? D...E..A..D, dead." 

"You're smart Alaina, thanks for that!!" Sabi ni Alice, she typed the letter D E A and D and it worked, lumabas sa left side ng pader ang isang screwdriver, tumakbo silang apat papunta doon, they only have 3 minutes left, kinuha kaagad ni Matt ang screwdriver, maya maya, nagsimula nang umikot ang mechanical needle na malapit sa mata ni Tiffany, she's now more intensed and screaming.

Pumunta kaagad sina Matt sa machince at binuksan ang takip ng machine, all they have to do, is find the wire that makesthe machine stop pero, madaming kulay ito, they looked at the timer at may 1 minute left, masyado nang mabilis ang oras.

Sinubukan ni Matt na tanggalin ang blue wire pero, walang epek, pagtanggal nya ng green wire, mas bumilis ang ikot ng needle, habang tumatagal, humahaba yung needle at papalapt ito sa mata ni Tiffany, she's crying and don't know what to do, they only have 10 seconds left. 

They have to get fast, only ten seconds left to find the right wire, pinagpapawisan si Matt at hindi nya na alam ang gagawin nya, he took off the yellow wire pero, biglang dumikit ang needle sa dalawang mata ni Tiffany at binutas ito hanggang sya ay mamatay. Tumalsik ang dugo sa mukha ni Matt. Biglang dumating ang ilang estudyante at nagulat sila sa pangyayari.

"Tiffany... Tiffany is dead." Sabi ni Alice, she's speechless sa nangyari,  they watched Tiffany's body lying on the table while her blood is gushing on the floor. "Matt.... Matt killed her!!" Sabi ng isang estudyante, everyone is starting to blame Matt, maya maya, isang lalaki ang papalapit sa kanya pero, hinarang sya ni Alaina. Sinampal sya at nadapa sa lapag.

"You, you'll pay for her!!" Sinuntok nya yung lalake at nagkakaroon na ng kaguluhan sa kwarto ng biglang tumugtog ang Beethoven, nagbukas ang isang t.v at nagpakita ulit ang isang manika na nakangiti sa kanila.

"You know, you shouldn't fight each other, you should be helping dahil ang buhay is between life and death, now, the correct answer for this question is... The red wire, Matt, you're so close of saving her pero, you didn't, now, before the test begins, I challenge you to find the background of Tiffany at malalaman nyo kung bakit ganitong trap ang nabigay ko sa kanya." Then, nawala na yung manika sa t.v. Tumayo si Alaina sa lapag at pinunasan ang madugong labi ni Matt, umalis sya sa room at naglakad sa madilim na hallway, pero, sinundan sya ng kanyang kapatid.

"Matt wait!!, Where are you going?"

"I'm going to fnd those psychopaths, and when I do, I'm going to kill them for sure."

"Kuya please, violence never solves anything, we have to stick together para mabuhay, we also have to work together if we want to live, we have no choice but to finish this test..."

"Pero Alaina.."

"I know our lives is in danger pero, if we work together, we might get out of here now, we have to investigate why did they pick Tiffany." His brother agreed at sabay silang naglakad sa madilim na hallway habang ang mga ilaw nito ay nagpa-patay sindi, when they reach the locker room, they found the locker of tiffany, when they opened it, they only saw nothing but a notebook...

They opened it and they saw what she wrote in that notebook, her mother plans in giving her a new glasses dahil malabo ang mga mata ni Tiffany, the only thing she fears the most ay natatakot sya na baka mabutas o matanggal ang kanyang mata pero, that is not entirely true, ayon pa sa kanyang notebook, after ng prom, she will have her check up sa mata... "Now... I know how these Psychopaths do to their victims, may iilang fears tayo, you see, takot si Tiffany na baka mabutas o matanggal ang kanyang mata, ginagamit nila ang takot natin sa trap nila pero, I still don't know kung bakit si Tiffany pa rin ang pinatay nila." Sabi ni Alaina.. 

They ran sa Information room at binuksan ang isang computer, when they opened the computer, tinignan nila ang mga top notchers ng eskuwelahan, they found out that Tiffany was part of a Top Notcher at top 1 sya. "I see, the psychopaths follow a trail of tops, I'm in top six at ikaw kuya ang top seven so... Ang susunod ay si Nina, next si Anna, Mary, shit si Alice at... Tayo na ang susunod...."
