9. Death's Second Test (Listening Comprehension)

"You only have 12 Minutes to answer this test, starts now" Biglang naging red timer ang buong t.v screen ng eskuwelahan. "Dalian na natin!!" Tumakbo silang dalawa papunta sa language center.

------- Classroom --------

Dumeretso ang buong klase sa language center pero, may problema, may isang lock.

"Shit, pati pa ba naman ito?" Sabi ng isang estudyante. "We have to do something before the timer runs out." Tumingin silang lahat sa t.v screen at may 10 Minutes left na lang sila, buti na lang, dumating na si Isaiah at si JC. "Anong meron? Bakit di kayo makapasok?"

"May lock yung pintuan at di namin alam yung code, walang clues na binigay sa amin, paano natin ito mabubuksan, we only got 10 minutes to open this." Sabi ni Sydney. Pumunta sya muna sa bintana para mag-isip habang yung mga ibang kaklase nya, hinahampas yung pintuan, sa gilid kasi ng pintuan, my lockers ng may nakita syang numbers from 1-20. Teka, alam nya yung Locker System sa math, maybe nandito yung clues sa lockers. Tumakbo sya kaagad sa locker at sinimulang bilangin.

"Anong ginagawa mo?" Tanong ni Ella.

"The answers are in the lockers."

"Wait, nasa loob ang sagot?"

"No, the answer must be in these numbers."

"I can help you with that." So, they started the investigation, tiningnan nila yung t.v screen and they only have 9 Minutes left, so, may twenty lockers dito, if he did the locker system maybe...

So... kung 1 ang nasa left side ng locker at nandoon ang 20 sa right side, ang kailangan dito ang sistema ng locker. So, gagawa tayo ng virtual questions.

Tony opens 20 lockers

He then opens Locker #2 and closes other lockers 3 4 6 and 5.

Until he goes back to locker 3 and this time it's different, he closes locker 3 6 10 and 17

and so.... the Question is, what is the 3 other lockers that has not been closed.

The closed lockers are,

3 4 5 6 10 and 17 so.....

The remaining opened lockers are 1 2 8 9 11 12 13 14 15 16 18 19 and 20...

Ella tries to remove 20 and 19, the only remainings is 1 2 8 9 11 12 13 14 15 16 and 18...

JC's technique is add and remove..... If he removes 12 16 13..... then, the remaining lockers that is open is 1 2 8 9 11 14 15 and 18.... 

Ella suggests that they will remove 1 2 16 14 13 and 15.

JC agreed and they only have 8  9 11 17 18..... Maya maya..... Some numbers are familiar to him maya maya, pumasok sa isip nya ang number ng kanyang condo.... 1189....
