Its just....the dead eyes and non feeling face. Why Cat in The hat scared me though most was just that he caused trouble. He looked more like a rat to me when I was little. He didn't look soft and I had a dream he had needle teeth with fucked me up big time.
I was only in first grade meaning I was 6-7 when I first read Cat in the Hat. Youd expect at that age the Grinch would be scarier. Aha nope. I screamed at my teacher amd begged her not to read it even tho everyone else did. She had me sit outside and in my response I told her
"You are mean! You don't deserve me homework!"
As in my head I felt teachers loved homework as much as a tweaker loves drugs.
Snorting homework...hehe
Gladly now that I am older he doesn't bother me as much and find him to be less...frightening.
